Being Sara and Ava's daughter and getting in trouble on the waverider

I am the teenage daughter of Sara Lance and Ava Sharpe. I had been trying for years to get my parents to let me help on missions, but it was no use, they always made me stay behind on the waverider. Today was no different.

I was forced to stay behind with Ray and Mick, which I thought was ridiculous...Mick I understood but Ray...he couldn't fight to save his live and acted like such a girl at times.

I was spinning around on Sara's chair, bored stupid. "Y/n you need to stop doing that, you could get hurt."

I rolled my eyes and turned to face Ray. Before I could say anything Mick butted in from the other side of the room. "Leave the kid alone, she ain't gonna hurt herself and anyway she ain't like you, she ain't gonna cry to Sara if she does."

Ray turned to face Mick. "No but if something happens to her Sara and Ava will kill us."

Before I could say anything the waverider shook, sending the three of us crashing to the floor. "Gideon, what the hell's going on?!"

"It appears the waverider is under attack miss Lance - Sharpe."

I rolled my eyes and stood up. "Kid catch!" I looked up in time to see Mick throwing the cold gun towards me.

Ray looked around. "Hey! What about me?!"

"Use your suit Ray!"

"Oh yeah."

I shook my head, just then the room was flooded with pirates.

Me and Mick were both fighting off pirates when we heard Ray talking into his comms...oh he better not be talking to my moms....

"Sara! The waverider is under attack! You have to get back here NOW!"

I rolled my eyes as Ray's voice got more and more high pitched. I turned as I saw a portal open and saw both my moms, Zari, Nate and Amaya walk into the room.

The fight carried on, everyone in a battle of their own. My mothers kept their eyes on me the entire time, trying to get close enough when they thought I was gonna be hurt.

I didn't see the pirate behind me, he quickly grabbed me around the throat and pulled me off my feet.

"Nobody move or the girl dies!"

Everybody froze in place. Sara looked pissed. "You better let my kid go! Or I swear I'll kill you."

The pirate smiled and applied pressure to my throat, causing me to gasp. I kicked at his leg, but that just made him angrier. He growled and threw me across the room. I heard my parents shout. I don't remember what happened next, I had blacked out when my head connected with the wall.

I could hear a faint beeping, I groaned and opened my eyes. I saw Sara on one side of me and Ava on the other.

Sara noticed I was awake and brushed hair out of my face. "Hey you, how you feeling?"

I smiled at my parents. "Like I got hit by a bus."

Ava took my hand in hers. "You really had us worried back there."

"I know I'm sorry"

Sara smiled. "Don't be, you handled yourself well....better than Ray did.."

All three of us rolled our eyes and burst out into a fit of giggles.
