Being Katie McGrath's daughter and getting hurt on set

Your POV

You were excited today. Today was the day you were going to the Supergirl set with your mom Katie McGrath. You loved it when you was allowed on set. You absolutely loved the cast. You loved playing pranks on everyone with David, you loved hanging around with Chyler and hanging with Melissa and finding new trinkets for Kara's office at CatCo and you loved sneaking off to the food trolley with Nicole and sneaking loads of food before she had to film.

The best part of it was being able to sit with the director and watch everyone as they're filming. You loved watching Supergirl but you preferred it when you were able to go and watch it being filmed.

You were hurriedly getting ready when you heard your mom call you from downstairs.

"Y/n, come on we're gonna be late!"

"Okay coming!" You quickly grabbed a pair of shoes, hopping to get them on your feet, while trying to get down the stairs.

As you got to the bottom step you fell forward, thankfully your mom was there to steady you. "Woah, you okay?"

"Yeah I'm good, thanks, can we go now?"

Your mom laughed. "Yeah we can go, just be careful when we're there, you know how accident prone you are."

You rolled your eyes and took the keys from your mom so that you could wait in the car while she locked up.

You soon arrived at the set. You quickly got out the car, spotting Chyler near hers, as soon as you saw her you ran in her direction. "Chyler!"

Chyler turned to see you and smiled, she opened her arms and you quickly wrapped your arms around her waist. "Hey kiddo, I didn't know you was coming today."

You pulled away and nodded. "Yeah mom said I could."

Chyler looked to your mom as she made her way over. "Thanks for waiting for me hun"

You rolled your eyes. "Mom it was Chyler of course I was gonna run to her."

Your mom laughed. "Jeez and I thought you loved me."

You laughed. "I do mom, but I see you all the time I don't see Chyler that much."

Chyler laughed and you all made your way onto the set. You looked around excitedly, you loved how they put all this together.

You turned to your mom and grinned. "Oh and by the way Alex is my favourite character but I totally think Kara and Lena should become a couple."

David saw you and smiled, you quickly left Chyler and your mom and jumped on David's back. David laughed and flipped you over in his arms, making you squeal.

You heard your mom and Chyler walk over. "David careful, you know how accident prone she is."

David put you down and patted your head. "Aww little baby, mommy to the rescue"

You swatted him playfully. "Mommy?"

You looked over to see Melissa messing with some props in Kara's office, so you went over to say hi.

"Hey Melissa!"

Melissa turned and smiled. "Hey Mini Luthor!"

You looked at the little trinkets she had on her desk. "What ya doin?"

"Oh nothing, just seeing what new things I can add, the fans keep sending stuff in, wanna come with me and check what new stuff there is?"

You nodded.

Melissa smiled. "Okay, but you best tell your mom where your going."

You nodded again, taking your phone out your pocket and quickly sending your mom a text. Your mom looked at her phone and then over to you, shook her head and smiled, letting you and Melissa know that it was okay for you to go.

You and Melissa squealed and rushed off towards the fan mail on the other side of the studio.

Katie's POV

We all stared as we heard Y/n and Melissa squeal before running off. "God Katie, was it a good idea letting them two run off together?" David asked me from behind. I turned round and laughed.

"Probably not, but they can't get in too much trouble."

Nicole walked over shaking her head, hearing our conversation. "Remember the last time you said that and Y/n and Melissa put whoopie cushions on our seats before we started filming and nobody noticed until we started filming?"

Chyler laughed. "True but it made for some funny bloopers and I'm sure the fans will thank Y/n and Melissa for that."

It had been around 10 minutes and Melissa and Y/n still hadn't came back yet. I was starting to panic. Chyler put her hand on my arm, I looked over to her. "You okay Katie?"

I nodded. "Yeah, I just worry about her, she's so accident prone"

Before Chyler could say anything Melissa came running over, looking concerned.

"Katie, there you are! You need to come with me now!"

I frowned. "Why what happened?"

Melissa stood there trying to catch her breath. "Y/n fell over some loose wiring, she's okay, but she's twisted her ankle."

I shook my head. "I swear that kid will be the death of me."
