Maria's POV.

I felt like I was being rocked back and forth. I groaned and slowly opened my eyes. I blinked to see Natasha staring at me. I sat up shaking my head. "Nat?" Natasha smiled at me. "Thank god you're awake." I looked around to see that we were back at the compound. "How did we get back here?" Natasha shook her head. "No idea, we must have been moved here when we inhaled whatever that smoke was."

I got up and walked over to Tony. "Do we know anything?" Tony shook his head. "Nope." Suddenly Jarvis started talking. "Sir, we have a live video call coming in. Should I accept it?" Tony sighed. "Yeah go ahead."

We all looked at the screen to see Strucker grinning. "Hello Avengers." I frowned. "Where the hell is my daughter?!" Strucker laughed. "Oh she isn't going to want anything to do with you now..." I tilted my head. "Why?" Strucker laughed and played the video.

Morgan came up behind me. "Wait, what?! We didn't do that!" Strucker sighed. "Oh, but that mist I put in the vent, knocked you out but also let me control you, so you did do that, you just didn't know. You see I needed Y/n to believe that you abandoned her because now her allegiance will be with me...not you."

I could feel myself getting angrier. "What did you do to her?!" Strucker chuckled. "I didn't think those injections I gave her would work, but they did, she'll be more powerful than even Wanda...She will be my best weapon...I have to go now..."

The screen turned blank. I felt like I was going to be sick. I turned round and Natasha walked up to me and pulled me into a hug. "Hey, we'll figure this out, we'll get her back..."
