Over the next few weeks you had gotten closer with Tanya and the rest of the Denali's. You had also created a strong bond with Renesmee. The little girl spent a lot of her time with either you, Rosalie or her parents.

You was going to make sure that nothing happened to Renesmee or anyone here, even if that meant you wouldn't make it back alive...

You was in the backyard listening to Jacob explain things to the new members of his pack. "Now, you guys can do some serious damage. Which is why you'll need to control your phasing. If your mom pisses you off, you don't want to tear her head off."

Carlisle was talking to Tanya when you all heard people approaching fast. You all looked in that direction.

Jacob looked at Carlisle. "Whoever's coming wasn't inviting." He quickly phased along with the boys, all chasing after the unknown vampires.

You all shared a look before running after them to find out what was going on. You made it to the clearing along with Carlisle, Bella, Edward, Eleazer, Kate and Tanya. You was standing at the front with Carlisle and Tanya stayed near the back with Eleazer and Kate.

Carlisle spoke up from his position next to you. "Vladimir, Stefan, you're a long way from home."

You heard Kate next. "What are they doing here?"

Vladimir spoke up from his perch. "We heard the Volturi were moving against you, but that you would not stand alone."

Carlisle shook his head. "We didn't do what we were accused of."

Vladimir rolled his eyes. "We do not care what you did, Carlisle."

Stefan smiled. "We have been waiting a millennium for the Italian scum to be challenged."

Carlisle frowned. "It's not our plan to fight the Volturi."

"Shame...Aro's witnesses will be so disappointed."

"They enjoy a good fight."

You turned your head when you heard Eleazer. "Aro's witnesses?"

Vladimir chuckled. "Aww. Still hoping they'll listen?"
