Tanya Denali's mate part 2

It had been a few days since arriving at the Cullen's place. You had promised not to hunt in the immediate area, so you and Garrett travelled a bit to go and hunt and he couldn't shut up about a certain Denali.

You rolled your eyes. "For god sake Garett just shut up already!"

Garrett stopped to smirk at you. "Why don't you just try talk to them, you may like them."

You huffed turning to him. "Are you gonna leave me now?"

Garrett frowned. "What are you talking about?"

You sighed. "I know what happens when a vampire finds their mate....I got abandoned before...I don't want to be abandoned again..."

Garrett pulled you into a hug. "I'm not going to abandon you...yes Kate is my mate...but your my sister...my family..."

You smiled. "So we'll still be a family?"

Garrett nodded. "Anyway Renesmee seems to have taken a liking to you."

You grinned. "Yeah, she's a great kid, it's a shame about all this..."

Garrett put his hand on your shoulder. "We're gonna be okay, Y/n."

You sighed again. "You don't know that for sure...we best be getting back anyway...you want me to meet your mate after all..."

You both smiled before racing back to the Cullen's house. When you got back everyone was in the backyard. They all turned when they heard you and Garrett approaching. You were both playfully shoving each other. "You cheated Garrett!"

Garrett laughed. "No I didn't you were just too slow."

You grabbed Garrett in a head lock and flipped him over. You both looked up when you heard Carlisle clear his throat.

You both walked over and you went and stood next to Bella. "What's going on?"

Edward smiled at you. "Eleazer, thinks Bella's a shield."

You saw a blonde vampire with long straight hair...Kate... walk over to Bella and grab hold of her hand, trying to send shockwaves throughout her body. "Oh yeah, she's a shield, all right. That shoulda put her on her ass."

You looked at Edward who was frowning at Kate. You couldn't help but chuckle. You looked around to see everyone looking at you. One vampire in particular caught your eye. She was the most breath taking vampire you had ever seen in your existence.

The way her strawberry blonde curls framed her flawless face, the honey colour of her eyes that you felt like you could permanently get lost in. You snapped out of your little day dream when you heard Garrett pipe up.

"Or your voltage has been exaggerated." Kate turned to Garett and held her palm out to him. "Maybe it only works on the weak."

Garrett looked sceptical but proceeded forward. You shook your head at him laughing. "Garrett...I wouldn't..." His finger touched Kate's palm and he crumpled to the ground groaning.

You couldn't help but laugh, he was such an idiot at times. You watched as he looked up at Kate smiling. "You are an amazing woman."

You couldn't help but mutter. "Oh for the love of god..."

You looked up as you heard a chuckle. You noticed that everyone had silently went back into the house and the only ones left outside was you and the strawberry haired vampire.

She was standing in front of you smiling. "Hi..."

You waved awkwardly. "Hey...I'm Y/n."

"I'm Tanya, it's lovely to finally meet you."

If you could blush you would have. "Sorry, for staring earlier... I -"

Tanya raised her hand and you stopped talking. "No need to apologise Y/n, I was staring at you a lot longer than you was staring at me."

You laughed nervously. "I'm not the only one that's feeling a sort of pull right?"

Tanya let out a shaky laugh. "Oh thank god...I was worried it was just me."

You smiled. "So I guess I'm your mate?"

"I hope that's okay with you."

You smiled again and took her hand, sending a shiver down your spine. "That's more than okay with me."

Tanya pulled you closer to her and wrapped her arms around your waist, with you wrapping your arms around her neck. "You have no idea how long I've been waiting for you Y/n."

You couldn't help but lean into her, it was like magnets. Your lips were inches away from Tanya's, so close that you could feel her breath on your lips.

Just as you was about to close the distance you was tackled to the floor. "What the hell?!"

You jumped up facing Garrett. "Sorry, I couldn't help myself."

You walked over to Garrett and punched him in the gut. "You asshole!"

You turned around to see Kate laughing and Tanya looking pissed. Kate walked over to you offering you her hand. "I'm Kate, Tanya's sister."

You looked at her hand and shrugged, shaking it. "I'm Y/n, Garrett's sister." Kate frowned. You looked at her. "Ah, trying to shock me huh?"

Kate looked shocked. "Why didn't that work?" You felt arms wrap around your waist and pull you into their side. You looked to see Tanya glaring at Kate.

Before anything else could be said Eleazer was back outside. "Seems Y/n has a number of gifts, which is why your gift didn't work on her Kate."

Kate started jumping up and down. "Oh my god! This is great! The Volturi don't stand a chance now!"

Eleazer smiled. "Why don't we leave Y/n and Tanya alone for a bit hmm.."

Kate and Garrett smiled and followed Eleazer inside.

You smiled and turned in Tanya's arms, wrapping your arms around her neck. "She wasn't going to hurt me you know."

Tanya sighed and rested her head against yours. "I know, I'm just protective..."

You smiled. "I get it, we just found each other, I hope it's never gonna change though..."

Tanya leaned in closer to you. "Trust me sweetheart, it's never going to change."

You closed the distance between you. You smiled into the kiss, your lips seemed to fit perfectly together. Tanya crushed your body closer to hers. You swiped your tongue along her bottom lip. She quickly opened her mouth and you both began exploring, moaning at the unique taste.

Before you could get too carried away, you pulled away and rested your head against hers. "Even though I would love for this to get steamier, we should probably focus on making it out alive, and anyway, I don't want Garrett or Kate to be around..."

Tanya laughed. "Of course...I get it"

Tanya leaned down and kissed your cheek. You took her hand and walked back towards the house. "Hey Tan?"

"Yeah?"

"You think I'd look good with golden eyes?"

Tanya smiled at you. "Of course."
