Kara's daughter gets her first heart break

Your POV.

You had just got home from school and had the worst day ever. Your boyfriend of 2 years had broken up with you...well not technically. You caught him behind the bleachers making out with the girl that bullied you.

When they pulled a part and noticed you, your boyfriend was shocked while the girl was grinning. Your boyfriend had ran after you but you turned around and slapped him, you ended it and ran out of school.

You knew they would call your mom but you didn't even care, you ran home, ran to your bedroom, slammed the door and cried on your bed. You just wanted your mom.

Kara's POV.

I had just gotten back to the DEO after saving National city from another rogue alien. I landed on the balcony and made my way over to J'onn and Alex. I smiled seeing them deep in conversation. I took my phone from Alex.

I opened it to see an email from Y/n's school saying she had skipped her afternoon lessons and nobody had seen her.

I sighed and dialled Y/n's number but had no answer. I sighed, closed my eyes and listened for Y/n's heartbeat. I sighed in relief when I realised she was at home.

I walked over to J'onn and Alex who was looking at me questioningly. "J'onn I need to go, I got an email from Y/n's school, she's skipped her afternoon lessons, I need to go check on her.

J'onn nodded. "Of course Kara, no problem, we can handle anything else that happens today, don't worry."

I smiled, I made my way to the balcony when Alex ran up behind me. "Hey, if you need me just give me a call okay?"

I nodded and pulled her into a hug. "Will do thanks Alex."

I quickly flew in the direction of my home.

When I landed on the balcony, I walked into the living room quickly changing into my normal clothes. I looked downstairs but Y/n wasn't downstairs. I quickly made my way upstairs and stood outside Y/n's door. My heart broke when I heard sobs come from Y/n's room.

I quietly made my way into the room and sat on the edge of the bed, gently stroking her back.

Your POV.

You didn't know how long you had been crying for, it felt like ages. You tensed when you felt the bed dip and someone rubbing your back. You tilted your head and looked at your mom, she looked worried and you couldn't help but burst into tears again.

You sat up and lunged at your mom wrapping your arms around her neck and burying your face in her neck. Kara rubbed your back and tried her best to comfort you. When you finally calmed down Kara pulled you back gently to look at her.

"What's the matter baby?"

Your bottom lip quivered. "I broke up with Y/e/n."

Kara tucked hair behind your ear. "Why baby, what happened?"

"I found him behind the bleachers...making out with this girl from school..."

Kara pulled you back into her. "Oh sweetheart, I'm so sorry."

"What did I do wrong mom?"

Kara pulled back and wiped your tears. "Listen to me Y/n Zor - el Danvers. You did not do anything wrong! This isn't your fault! It's his and one day his going to realise what an ass he was for letting you get away."

You couldn't help but giggle at the fact that your mom had just said ass.

"I'm sorry for leaving school mom, I just couldn't stay there."

Kara kissed your head. "It's okay baby, I get it, how about we order take out and watch some movies?"

You smiled. "That sounds good. Thanks mom."

Kara smiled and turned on the TV. "No need to thank me, anything for my girl."

You spent the rest of the night laughing with your mom and watching movies, cuddled up into her side. Yeah having your heart broken for the first time hurt, but your mom knew how to make it better.
