Tanya Denali's mate part 7

You all made you way onto the snowy field. You was standing next to the Denali's and Garrett. Tanya had a firm grip on your hand and you squeezed it comfortingly. You looked at Garrett when you heard him mutter to Kate. "If we live through this...I'll follow you anywhere, woman."

Kate rolled her eyes playfully. "Now you tell me."

You leaned into Tanya and sighed, wanting to get as close to her as physically possible. You looked up as you heard figures approaching from the distance.

You rolled your eyes at Garrett. "The Redcoats are coming! The Redcoats are coming!"

"Hey Garrett?"

He looked over at you. "Yeah?"

You smiled sweetly. "Shut the hell up dude."

This earned a chuckle from most of the people on your side of the field. You noticed Tanya stiffen when she noticed a certain blonde vampire, you looked, that must be Irina.

You heard howling in the distance and noticed Jacob and Sam with the packs. Jacob went and stood next to Bella, Edward and Renesmee.

Tanya held you around the waist and pulled you into her side.

Carlisle took a step forward. "Aro, let us discuss things as we used to. In a civilized manner."

Aro nodded. "Fair words, Carlisle, but a little out of place, given the battalion you've assembled against us."

Carlisle shook his head. "I can promise you, that was never my intent. No laws have been broken."

Caius sneered. "We see the child. Do not treat us as fools."

Carlisle spoke up, louder for the Volturi's witnesses to hear. "She is not an immortal! These witnesses can attest to that. Or you can look." Carlisle indicated to Renesmee. "See the flush of human blood in her cheeks."

Caius didn't seem convinced. "Artifice!"

Aro raised his hand. "I will collect every facet of the truth, but from someone more central to the story. Edward, as the child clings to your new born mate, I assume you are involved."

You watched as Edward rested a hand on Renesmee's head and smiled at Bella before walking towards Aro. You watched Bella gently nudge Renesmee closer to Jacob. You saw her try to use her shield but Edward was too far away.

Everyone watched in silence as Aro looked into Edward's memories. When he was finished he looked bewildered. "I'd like to meet her."

Edward looked back at Bella. She walked forward, holding Renesmee's hand with Jacob at her side. They stopped and looked back at you. You gently removed Tanya's arms from around your waist and stepped forward to walk with them to meet Aro. You didn't look at Tanya. You didn't want to see the worry in her eyes.

You stepped to the side and watched the interaction. Aro took his first look at Bella. "Ahh... Young Bella. Immortality becomes you." He then looked to Renesmee when he heard her unusual heart beat. He let out a high pitched squeal.

You had to cover your face, if you didn't you would have started laughing, which wouldn't have been good for anyone.

"I hear her strange heart."

You watched as Renesmee looked up at Bella for permission and then walked towards Aro, causing Jacob to growl slightly.

Aro had his hand stretched out for Renesmee to take. "Hello Aro." She looked at his hand and placed her hand on his cheek, showing him everything.

Aro looked amazed. "Magnifico!" Aro straightened up. "Half mortal, half immortal." Bella gently grabbed Renesmee and pulled her back to her side. "Conceived and carried by this new born, while she was still human."
