Being AJ's teenage sister and being sick

I woke up for school but I felt sick to my stomach. I decided to ignore the feeling and get ready for school. I had been living with my older sister AJ ever since I was little. AJ's my half sister, we have different mom's and she lost custody of me when I was young and AJ adopted me.

After getting dressed for school I went down to the kitchen, expecting AJ to be at work already, she left early in the morning and came home late at night, she was a main character on Criminal Minds, she played Jennifer Jareau. I loved seeing my older sister on Criminal Minds. I walked into the kitchen to see AJ at the table drinking coffee, she looked up at me and smiled. "Hey sweetie."

I nodded and sat opposite her, resting my head on the table. I looked up when I heard AJ talk again. "Hey baby, you okay?" I looked up and clamped my hand over my mouth. I quickly got up and ran to the bathroom, making it just in time as I started throwing up in the toilet.

I felt AJ pull my hair back and rub my back. After what felt like forever I looked up at AJ. AJ smiled and helped me to my feet. I quickly brushed my teeth and left the bathroom. AJ followed me to my bedroom, I turned around to see her frowning when she noticed I was grabbing my school bag.

I walked towards the door but AJ stood in the way, blocking my exit. "AJ what're you doing?" AJ looked at me as though I had two heads. "Me? What am I doing? What are you doing? You've just been sick...honey you can't go to school today." I shook my head. "I'm fine, really."

AJ put her hand to my head and shook her head. "I don't think so baby girl, you have a temperature, get back in your pyjamas and get into bed." I rolled my eyes but did what she said.

I grabbed my bin as I started being sick again. I could hear AJ in the hallway on the phone to my school, telling them I wouldn't be in. I then heard her on the phone to the producers, saying that she couldn't come in and film, saying she couldn't come in until I was feeling better.

I looked up as AJ walked into the room with a glass of water. AJ set the water on the night stand and climbed into the bed next to me. "Why did you do that?" AJ looked confused. "Do what?" I sighed. "Phone the producers and tell them you wasn't coming in." AJ laughed. "Because your sick dummy, I'm not gonna leave you when you're sick."

I shook my head, laughing. "Well if you stay in bed with me, you'll get sick too." AJ shrugged and turned on my TV and found a TV show to watch on Netflix. "Oh well, if I get sick you'll have to look after me."
