Your POV.

You had just got home from school and had the worst day ever. Your boyfriend of 2 years had broken up with you...well not technically. You caught him behind the bleachers making out with the girl that bullied you.

When they pulled a part and noticed you, your boyfriend was shocked while the girl was grinning. Your boyfriend had ran after you but you turned around and slapped him, you ended it and ran out of school.

You knew they would call your mom but you didn't even care, you ran home, ran to your bedroom, slammed the door and cried on your bed. You just wanted your mom.

Alex's POV.

I had just gotten back to the DEO after saving National city from another rogue alien with Kara. Kara flew back to the DEO with me in her arms. Once Kara put me down I walked over to J'onn and picked up my phone.

I opened it to see an email from Y/n's school saying she had skipped her afternoon lessons and nobody had seen her.

I sighed and dialled Y/n's number but had no answer. I sighed and walked back over to Kara. "Hey Kara can you listen for Y/n's heartbeat please?"

Kara nodded. "Yeah, why?"

I sighed. "She's skipped school and won't answer her phone, I just need to make sure she's okay."

Kara nodded, closed her eyes and after a few minutes opened her eyes again. "She's at the apartment."

I nodded.

I walked over to J'onn. "J'onn I need to go, I got an email from Y/n's school, she's skipped her afternoon lessons, I need to go check on her.

J'onn nodded. "Of course Alex, no problem, we can handle anything else that happens today, don't worry."

I smiled and turned to Kara. "Would you mind flying me to the apartment. Kara nodded and opened her arms for me.

Kara quickly flew in the direction of my apartment.

When Kara landed on the balcony, she let me go and with a quick hug and goodbye I walked into the living room. I looked downstairs but Y/n wasn't downstairs. I quickly made my way upstairs and stood outside Y/n's door. My heart broke when I heard sobs come from Y/n's room.

I quietly made my way into the room and sat on the edge of the bed, gently stroking her back.

Your POV.

You didn't know how long you had been crying for, it felt like ages. You tensed when you felt the bed dip and someone rubbing your back. You tilted your head and looked at your mom, she looked worried and you couldn't help but burst into tears again.

You sat up and lunged at your mom wrapping your arms around her neck and burying your face in her neck. Alex rubbed your back and tried her best to comfort you. When you finally calmed down Alex pulled you back gently to look at her.

"What's the matter baby?"

Your bottom lip quivered. "I broke up with Y/e/n."

Alex tucked hair behind your ear. "Why baby, what happened?"

"I found him behind the bleachers...making out with this girl from school..."

Alex pulled you back into her. "Oh sweetheart, I'm so sorry."

"What did I do wrong mom?"

Alex pulled back and wiped your tears. "Listen to me Y/n Danvers. You did not do anything wrong! This isn't your fault! It's his and one day his going to realise what an ass he was for letting you get away."

You couldn't help but giggle at the fact that your mom had just said ass.

"I'm sorry for leaving school mom, I just couldn't stay there."

Alex kissed your head. "It's okay baby, I get it, how about we order take out and watch some movies?"

You smiled. "That sounds good. Thanks mom."

Alex smiled and turned on the TV. "No need to thank me, anything for my girl."

You spent the rest of the night laughing with your mom and watching movies, cuddled up into her side. Yeah having your heart broken for the first time hurt, but your mom knew how to make it better.
