Natasha's POV

I watched on in horror as Y/n crashed to the floor. I caught her before she could hit her head. I turned to Tony who came running over. "Nat, we need to get her to Bruce." I pushed him away when he tried to take Y/n out of my arms. "I'll take her! You've done enough damage for one day!"

I gently situated Y/n securely in my arms and walked inside quickly. I heard Tony running to catch up so I shouted over my shoulder to him. "You wanna help, then go and find Bruce. quickly!"

When I got to the med bay it was empty, I gently lowered Y/n onto the bed and waited anxiously for Bruce to walk in.

It felt like hours but was only minutes the doors opened and Bruce walked in a long with Tony. He glanced at me and quickly made his way to Y/n.

Bruce then turned back to me. "What happened?" I couldn't help but sigh. "Boy wonder over there, thought it'd be a good idea to send MY daughter on a mission without MY permission and she got hurt. When she got back she passed out."

Bruce nodded and started running tests on Y/n. After a while Bruce nodded and stepped back. "It seems she has a concussion, she's okay, though she'll have to be monitored."

I nodded and sat down next to her, taking her hand in mine, waiting anxiously for her to wake up.

Your POV.

I slowly opened my eyes, I quickly shut them again when I was blinded by bright lights. I felt someone's hand in mine and gave it a gentle squeeze. I turned when I heard someone gasp from besides me.

When I opened my eyes again, I was looking at my mom. "Hey mom." Natasha gave me a watery smile in return. "Hey baby, how you feeling?"

I nodded but winced when I felt a pounding in my head. "Ow!" Natasha laughed. "Yeah you have a concussion."

I rolled my eyes. "Great, my first mission and I end up with a concussion."

Natasha gave my hand a gentle squeeze. "Hey...don't be so hard on yourself...you did better than most do on their first mission...and no I'm not just saying that because your my daughter."

I looked around but no one else was in the room. "Where's Tony?" Natasha didn't look impressed. "His outside." I nodded but winced again. "Can you bring him in and Bruce?" Natasha nodded and made her way to the door.

I didn't hear what was being said but next thing I knew Natasha was walking back over to me with Tony and Bruce following behind her.

Tony smiled at me. "Good to see your okay kid." Natasha sent him a withering glare. "Yeah, no thanks to you Stark." I rolled my eyes at my mother's antics. "Mom don't blame Tony." Mom turned to face me, shock evident on her face. "Who am I supposed to blame?" I sighed. "He didn't know things were gonna go bad...and like you said I did better than most."

I turned to Bruce. "Can I leave?" Bruce shook his head. "No Y/n, I'm sorry but you have a concussion and you need to be monitored." I sighed. "Okay...well what if I stay with mom tonight?" Bruce nodded and turned to Natasha. "Nat, you okay with that?"

Natasha walked over to me and gently took my hand and helped me sit up. I swung my legs over the bed and Natasha helped me to my feet and had her arm around my waist, supporting my weight. "Of course it is, she's my daughter!"

I laughed as we walked out the door and to Natasha's bedroom.
