+Stephanie's Pov+
When we got back to the house with all the party stuff we got it into the house together. I then asked the guys where Gus was. Goth said he had went upstairs. So I went and he wasn't in our room. I went into the guest room Elizabeth and Jack was in the night before. Only Jack, Gus, and Haidyn were there. Haidyn was strapped to his chest while he was chasing Jack around. Jack looked like he was having the time of his life. I cleared my throat and Gus looked up.
"Oh, hey baby." "Hey. Where's Liz?" "She's in the other guest room putting her new stuff away." "Okay. I'm gonna go check on her." "Kay." "Do you want me to take Haidyn?" "Sure."
I took her and Gus took the carrier off and continued playing with Jack. I went to where Gus said Elizabeth was and she was sitting on the bed playing with a necklace she had on. She was smiling down at it and didn't even notice I had come into the room. I knocked on the door and she looked up.
"Oh hey Stephanie. I didn't see you standing there." "Whatcha got there?" "Nothing." "You were smiling at it pretty hard for it to be nothing. Let me see."
I sat on the bed with her and she started to touch the necklace again.
"Gus gave it to me." "I see." "He's really nice..especially considering I didn't deserve it." "Hey. If he gave it to you then you deserved it. I think it looks amazing on you." "Really?" "Of course." "So you're not just saying that because I'm your sister?" "Well, partially."
She started to laugh and I laughed with her.
"Seriously though, you look good." "Thanks." "Welp, I'm gonna go help the girls set up for our party tonight. Would you watch baby Haidyn for me?" "Of course." "Thank you." "What's the party for?" "Emery's pregnant." "Is that the dark haired one with the really pretty eyes?" "Yup. That's the one." "Tell her I said congrats." "I will. Thanks for watching Haidyn." "No problem."
I smiled and handed Haidyn to her. I tousled her hair then went downstairs to help unpack everything we got from the store. They already had some music going and they were already unpacking things. Lorde's song Million Dollar Bills was playing. After awhile of helping the girls in the kitchen, arms wrapped around me. I turned to see Gus and he kissed my cheek.
"Where's Jack?" "He's in the room with Elizabeth and Haidyn." "Can I talk to you for a minute?" "Uh oh. Did I do something wrong?" "No. Just, come on."
I started to walk upstairs with Gus and I took him to our room. I closed the door behind us and he sat on the bed.
"Is everything okay?" "Gus..you are..."
I tried finding the right words to say.
Gus said,"I'm what? Cause baby I promise, whatever you think I did I swear I didn't do it. I've been with Elizabeth and Jack all day, I came home and I-." "Babe it's not that. I just wanted to say that you're so...perfect. You're the perfect man for me and I don't know what I'd do at all without you." "What do you mean?" "You gave Elizabeth, my sister who you don't really know yet, one of your favorite necklaces. I don't know why you gave it to her and I won't ask but you didn't have to do that. And the way she smiles at it warms my heart completely. When you were playing with Jack I could feel his happiness. His smile was radiant. You take care of Haidyn and you're so gentle with her. You take care of me. You hold me like I'll disappear if you let me go, you kiss me like every time is your last, you've been with me through literally thick and thin. You treat me like a goddess even though I don't deserve it. Tony never gave me shit. He never gave me anything. He never cared for me this heavily. He wasn't a man. He was a little boy. But you...you give me so much more everyday and I just..I'm just wondering...is it dangerous to be this in love with someone?.." "Are you feeling okay?" "I know...I probably sound..crazy. He got up from the bed and came towards me.
"And it's not dangerous to be madly in love with me. Cause I'm madly in love with you and it feels amazing." "No..I sound crazy..I'm sorry I'm rambling.." "Stop it. You don't sound any kind of way right now except exactly how I'd want you to. I am a man. And I'll always be a man for you because that's what you need. I'll always be there to hold you and treat you right because that's what I'm here for. And I always hoped I'd be a better man than my father ever was and I am. Part of that is because of you. You make me stronger and in everyday that we spend together I hope that you always talk about me the way you just did." "I love you Gus." "I love you too Stephanie."
He kissed me and we went back downstairs. Emery was making a toast and standing on top of the kitchen table. I hurriedly grabbed me and Gus some cups then I handed him his after I filled it.
Emery said,"I can't have any liquor but I wanted to make this toast because I love you guys. I fucking love all of you and I'm so happy to be apart of this family. And Goth, I don't know where life is going after this baby but I'm willing to walk anything with you."
I seen Goth smiling super hard and then we all raised our cups.
Emery then said,"Now lets party!!!"
We all were yelling for her then we drank from our cups at the same time. After that the party was officially started.
