+Melanie's Pov+
Aiden was having fun and that made me happy. She didn't really know how to skate so she was hanging onto me halfway the whole time. Which I didn't mind at all. She looked up and seen Stephanie as she went past us twisting around with that Miles guy.
"How does she do that?" "Stephanie's like, good at lots of things. It's been that way since I met her. I've never seen her skate but I assumed she'd be good at it." "Hm. What else can she do?" "She can dance, I think she does music, she throws knives really well, she fights good too, she draws I think." "Geezums. I wish." "Yeah, me too."
We laughed then Elizabeth came rolling around.
"Sup."
I said,"Hey loser." "You two having fun?" "Yeah. Are you?" "I am actually. I haven't been skating in a long while." "Me either." "Well, you guys wanna make a skate train?" "Sure. You want to Aiden?"
Aiden said,"I'm in."
She latched onto my waist and then Elizabeth latched onto hers and we started skating around together.
+Mile's Pov+
As I was skating around with Stephanie, I was just having so much fun. Whenever I was with her it felt like the world was right and like I could be around her all day. She then knocked me out of my thoughts.
"You having fun not keeping up?" "I am keeping up. Don't try and treat it like I'm no good." "Okay fine. You're okay."
I laughed and she laughed with me.
"So, what's on your agenda tomorrow?" "Nothing important. I'll probably just chill at home, what about you?" "Well, I was wondering if you'd wanna go and see a movie with me tomorrow night." "Sounds fun. What time?" "I'd say 6ish." "6ish or 6?"
I laughed again and then said,"6." "Okay, sounds good. Don't flake on me though." "I'd never."
She smiled then started skating regularly again. I didn't know why but, every time I talked with her I felt butterflies. Every time she smiled it made me want to smile. Every time she laughed she made me want to laugh right along with her. She was such a joyful soul and I was glad she was my friend. Although sometimes I wanted to be more than friends. But she'd never know that because she was already married to Gus. It sucked but, I guess I'd have to be happy just being friends.

"So, are you having any fun Gus?" "I am. I'm happy to see my family happy." "That's sweet."
I looked over at her and we stopped by a wall to talk.
"How have you been Emma? Like, really?" "I've been okay. I've been just rolling with the punches really. But I've been good." "Well, I miss us hanging out. I remember when we were younger and we stayed together like glue." "I remember, too."
She smiled and I smiled back.
"How have you been, like, really?" "I've been good. I married Stephanie, we had Haidyn, Tracy just got married to Jamie, Goth and Bex have found some good girls, I don't do drugs as much as I used to..I've been..happier."
I stared at Stephanie as she was skating around and I smiled at how happy she made me.
"Well, that's really good that you're better. I'm happy for you Gus." "Thanks Emma."
She smiled and then I said,"I'm thirsty so I'm gonna go get a soda. Do you want anything?" "I'll take a soda, too." "Okay."
I skated off to go get me and Emma some sodas.
+Melanie's Pov+
Me and Aiden had put our regular shoes back on for a second so we could step outside. I guess she had gotten a little worn out. Once we got outside we sat on a bench that was right out front and she huffed.
"Skating is exhausting." "It is." "I don't see how Stephanie does it so flawlessly."
I giggled at how tired she sounded then she laid her head on my shoulder.
"It's beautiful tonight. The stars and the moon.." "It is beautiful."
After awhile of staring at the sky Aiden sat up again and started playing with her fingers.
"Melanie..." "Yeah?"
I turned towards her and when I did her lips were on mines. I thought my stomach would explode and before we could get more into the kiss she pulled back quickly.
"I'm sorry..I just..I thought I'd-..I don't know. I should've asked to kiss you first it's just..I thought if I didn't do it now then when but..I'm sorry."
I smiled at her cute rambling then I pulled her close to me and kissed her again. She kissed me back and I was ecstatic. And I know we just met but this felt right. When we pulled back she looked at me.
"You're a really good kisser.." "Thank you."
I giggled at how shy she was being but I thought she was too cute. She put some hair behind her ear and started biting her bottom lip.
"Was that weird?..I feel like that was too weird." "It wasn't weird at all. I liked it." "Do you...do you like me?.." "I do.."
She started blushing and playing with her hair. I smiled then we started looking at the sky again.
+Stephanie's Pov+
Me and Gus were skating together now and he seemed like he was thinking about something.
"Are you okay?" "Me?" "Yes you silly. You seem like you're thinking about something. What's up?" "Nothing. I just..I'm glad to be out with you and everyone else tonight. And thank you for being so cool about Emma." "I like her. She's nice. And granted I know about you guys' past, I know that's something you can't just part from in your life. She was there for you for a long time and she was there when I wasn't so, there's no need to be jealous or anything."
He hooked his hand into mine and said,"Hey, we've been through a lot, too. And I love you so much. You know that right?" "I know. But, I just mean that I'm happy that you and her still get along and that your friendship didn't disappear completely."
He kissed my cheek and I smiled.
"What about you and Miles?" "What about us?" "I know he likes you Stephanie." "He might but, I know who I married and he's my friend." "Who'd you marry?" "You." "That's right."
I smiled and pushed him playfully. After that we kept skating with each other.
