+Stephanie's Pov+
Haidyn was strapped to my chest and everyone else was walking and talking with each other. We were in the mall on our way to Hot Topic. I was hoping Aiden would find something she liked. If not of course she could look in other stores. We entered Hot Topic and everyone kind of split up. I had went to look at the little toys they had to see if Haidyn wanted something. As I was looking around I had accidentally bumped into someone.
"Oo. I'm sorry." "No, it's fine. That was my fau-. Stephanie?"
I looked up and said,"Miles? What are you doing here?" "I'm here for a dance thing. And who is this little cutie?" "This is Haidyn." "Awww. Bless her little heart." "Thank you." "So, how have you been?" "I've been okay, what about you?" "I've been okay, too. Are you here with anyone else?" "Yeah, just my daughter and her friends then some of my friends." "Oh. Well, if you're ever interested, I'd like to hang before I leave here." "Sounds good. I'll see you around." "See you."
He smiled and walked away then I smiled to myself. Emery came over to me and looked questioningly.
"Who was that?" "This guy I met in New York when I went to go visit Gus's mom. He's cool." "Cool. I think Aiden's loving this store." "That's good. Have you found anything?" "Yup. I found 2 cute dresses but I think I want a big tee and some stockings, too." "That'd be cute. If you do find an outfit like that could you grab me one, too?" "I'm on it."
I smiled with enthusiasm and spotted a Harley Quinn plush toy. It was so cute and I thought it'd be perfect for Haidyn. I showed her and she stared at it in amazement. She started making her little baby noises and I smiled. I then went to check on Melanie and Aiden. They were looking at the shirts on the racks and I seen that Aiden had a couple of things. Melanie had some stuff, too. I was happy watching them shop together and I was glad that they were finding things. I then seen Jamie and Emily looking at some jackets. I walked towards them and smiled.
"You guys see anything you like?"
Jamie said,"Well I'm debating on whether or not I want the skull themed one that's black and white or the black and red one that's got a cute baby Satan on the back."
Emily said,"I told her she should totally go with the black and red one."
I said,"I'm with Em. The black and red one's cute." "Okay. Baby Satan it is."
Emery came towards me.
"Hey, Liz said she needs your help picking between things." "Okay. Did you find us some cute outfits?" "I got us matching medium fish nets with matching black Marilyn Manson tees." "Sounds good. You should get the outfits and I'll buy us some matching cute goth girl boots to go with them." "Sounds good."
I smiled then went to check on Elizabeth. She was holding up 2 things and going back and forth.
"Hey Liz. You said you needed help. I did. So, I was going to ask should I get the Dunder Mifflin sweat suit which I think looks really comfy and is hilarious or this Rick and Morty graphic tee with black jeans?" "I'd say Dunder Mifflin because I love The Office but at the same time the outfit's cute, too. You should get both." "Are you sure?" "Yes. And grab other things you might like, too. This is our girls day and we're just free-for-alling."
She smiled then went to keep looking around the store. I smiled to myself and decided I'd get me a Dunder Mifflin sweat suit, too so I went to grab one.
+Lil Peep's Pov+
Goth passed me the wood we was hitting since it was my turn. Me and the guys were just listening to music, smoking and passing around a bottle.
I then said,"Y'all, I want a dog."
Bexey smiled and said,"What kind?" "Definitely a pit bull." "What color?" "Black. And I want a puppy." "Sounds good to me. I say you do it." "Cmon. Y'all come with me."
Tracy said,"Do I have to? I'm tired." "Yes you have to."
Bexey said,"I'm already in. Maybe I'll get something, too."
Goth said,"I'll come. I just wanna pet some of the animals."
I said,"See. So cmon Tracy." "Ughhh. Fine."
I smiled and we went on our way to find a black baby pit bull.
+Aiden's Pov+
Elizabeth and Melanie were laughing with each other at something and I was in my own head. I was finally free and I no longer had to feel caged. I no longer had to starve. I no longer had to be alone. I no longer had to be dirty. I no longer had to hear hateful yelling. I no longer had to fear for my life. I no longer had to hate being alive. I didn't know if I was happy or scared honestly.
I knew that Elizabeth and Melanie had already been friends and I didn't want to get in the way of anything. So far Stephanie was really nice and I wasn't at all sure why. She didn't know me and I didn't know her. I didn't want to be a burden on someone I had just met that was so nice to me. I also didn't want to take anything for granted. I knew I was only where I was right now because I had met Melanie.
She was my hope. I could never repay her for what she had done. In the place where I was, I had abandoned all hope. I didn't think I ever had a chance of getting out of there. I thought that place was where I was going to die. By now I had felt like there was too much on my mind to be shopping. After awhile I was knocked out my thoughts when someone called my name.
"Aiden."
I looked up and seen Melanie.
"Hm?" "Are you okay?" "I'm fine.." "Are you sure? If you're not feeling well I can tell Stephanie." "I'm fine..I just, I'm feeling a little weird is all." "Hey, if you don't wanna be here we can go. Just tell me." "No..I don't wanna ruin the girls day.." "You wouldn't be ruining anything at all. We can have our own thing in my room at Stephanie's house if you're not up for this today."
I actually wanted to go back but I didn't want to ruin anything. I knew Stephanie was doing something really nice and I didn't want to make it seem like I didn't appreciate it.
"It's fine..there's no need to leave..I just am a little tired is all."
I could tell Melanie didn't believe anything I had said. She called for Elizabeth and Elizabeth came over.
Elizabeth said,"Hey, everything okay?"
Melanie said,"Would you be mad if I asked for a rain check on girls day today?" "I wouldn't be. I actually cancelled a tea party with Ruby today with the queen of England and she was super bummed out."
I looked at her confused and she started to laugh a little bit.
"Oh, not seriously. Just for fun."
I nodded my head understandingly as Melanie and Elizabeth started to laugh a little bit.
Melanie then said,"Okay. I'll call Stephanie." "Okay. I'm gonna go buy this stuff then we can go." "Kay."
Elizabeth walked off to the cash register and I looked at Melanie apologetically while she was on the phone. She smiled at me then started to talk on the phone. I felt bad that this was happening so tonight, I decided I'd tell Melanie ALL about me. I knew I was going to want to at some point anyway so, why not now right? After awhile we had rounded up everyone else and left the mall. I was thinking of everything I'd say to Melanie once we got back to Stephanie's place.
