+Emery's Pov+
Me and the girls were in the living room vibing to music. Stephanie, Jamie, and Emily were all high and drunk as fuck. I was just laughing at how they were acting. Emily was randomly playing in my hair. Stephanie was upside down on the couch staring into space and Jamie was dancing around randomly. All the guys were in the kitchen drinking.
Emily then said,"Your hair is so soft." "Mhm."
It felt good to have my hair played with. Goth did it all the time but it was still nice while Emily was doing it. I looked at Stephanie and she was still spaced out.
"Stephanie, are you okay?" "Yeah. I'm okay.." "Are you sure?" "I'm sure.."
She then ended up falling off the couch trying to turn back upright and we all looked at her. Jamie started to laugh and she came over to check on her. Stephanie started laughing, too.
+Stephanie's Pov+
When I stopped laughing I just looked up at the ceiling.
Jamie said,"Are you okay?" "I'm fine." "Are you sure?" "Yes. I'm okay. I'm better than I've ever been Jamie." "Me too."
I smiled and got up. I was still a little off balance but I wanted to smoke some more. I got into the kitchen and the guys were drinking and smoking. I then realized Bexey was gone though.
I looked at Goth and said,"Hey. Where'd Bexey go?" "I think he went in the basement." "Is he okay?" "He seemed alright when he went down there." "I'm gonna go check on him."
Gus grabbed my arm before I left and he pulled me down to kiss me. When he pulled back I smiled.
"What was that for?" "Cause I love you." "I love you, too."
I kissed him again then went in the basement to see what Bexey was up to. Once I finally got down there after struggling on the steps, I seen him on the floor with his legs crossed. I got to him and fell down.
He said,"Are you okay?!" "I'm fine. I'm fine. I'm just gonna lie here for a second."
He laughed at me then I looked towards him.
"Is everything okay Bexey?" "Yeah. Everything's fine." "Why are you down here alone?" "No reason." "Hey..I might be drunk and high off my ass but...you can talk to me.." "I just..I don't know. Do you think Emily's mad at me?.." "Why would she be mad at you?" "Because..I haven't asked her to marry me yet or anything...and it's not because I don't love her or anything like that I just..I want to be ready and I want her to want me.." "Hey. You're a good guy Bexey. You're nice and you care for others and you're not like most guys. You're different, you have your own style and you don't feel the need to be anyone else. And I think Emily's happy either way." "What if I proposed?..you know..after tour maybe.."
I smiled and struggled to sit up. When I was finally up I put my arm around his shoulders.
"Fuck yes." "Fuck yes?" "Fuck yes. I say go for it."
He started to nod his head slowly as he smiled.
"You know Stephanie..you always make me feel better." "That's what I'm here for. But, I'm gonna need you to help me back upstairs because I'm not gonna make it."
He nodded again and we both started laughing then he helped me back upstairs. When I got back upstairs the girls were still listening to music. I then went outside by the pool for fresh air. Melanie and Aiden were kissing by the pool while Elizabeth was soaking in the hot tub. I went by Liz and took my clothes off, keeping my underwear and bra on. I got in with her and sighed in relief. Elizabeth opened her eyes then she closed them again when she seen me.
"Hey Stephanie." "Hey. How's the water feel?" "Fucking amazing." "Language Liz." "Sorry."
I laughed and she laughed with me.
"So I see Aiden and Melanie are having lots of fun." "Yeah...I have a question and I want you to be completely honest with me." "I'll always be honest with you. What is it?" "Am I..am I ugly to you?" "No. You're not ugly." "Then why don't I have what everyone else has?" "Well, I'll say this..before I met Gus..I dated A LOT of guys that didn't give a shit about me. And I dated them because..I wanted love..I wanted something to hang onto like other girls had and I wanted someone I could be my complete self with and I didn't have to worry about me being myself. I waited for so long and I didn't even know Gus existed until Jamie literally dragged my ass to one of his concerts and when I met him...he was literally perfect. His looks were exotic, he wasn't normal, he had a heart like no one else's and he for some wild reason..wanted me..I question everyday why he would want me instead of someone better but everyday..he shows me the most unconditional love I've ever felt..and he was there through some of my darkest times and he still never treated me like shit. And I guess what I'm trying to say is, for girls like us, it takes a little longer to find what we're looking for. But, when we find it, it's the best we'll ever have and we don't want anyone else."
Elizabeth smiled at me then sat next to me and put her head on my shoulder.
"And you're not ugly. You're so gorgeous and your heart is so pure and you deserve someone who will treat you that way. And I don't want you getting your heart broken because then I'll have to kill someone's son."
She laughed and I smiled. Then I got out of the hot tub and threw my shirt back on. I also grabbed my pants.
"Now, I'm gonna go check on Elizabeth and Jack. I'll be back down later." "Kay. I love you Stephanie." "I love you, too."
I kissed her forehead and went into the house. I went upstairs and went to the room Jack and Elizabeth were last in. Jack was asleep in the bed but Elizabeth and Haidyn weren't there. So I went to Haidyn's room but, they weren't there either. I then went to me and Gus's room and Haidyn was on the bed asleep while Elizabeth was looking in my mirror. Playing with some lipstick. And she had one of my dresses on. I cleared my throat and she dropped the lipstick then looked at me.
"Oh, hey. I wasn't doing anything I was just..trying stuff on.." "That dress looks pretty on you." "I know it doesn't Stephanie. You don't have to lie to me." "You do. You look nice. Sit down and I'll help you do your hair." "Really?" "Yeah. Sit sit sit."
She sat in the chair in front of the vanity mirror and I stood behind her. I started to mess with her hair to figure out how I was going to do it and I smiled as she looked at herself.
"So, how do you want it?" "Could you do....2 pigtails?" "Sure. I can do that." "I really like the way yours is dyed now." "I went with the half neon half black because I was trying to look different." "It's really pretty on you." "You're not just saying that because you're my sister are you?" "Don't turn that back around on me."
I laughed and she laughed too. I put the top of her hair in two pigtails and left the rest down. When she looked at it she smiled.
"This is cute." "You like?" "I do." "Want some makeup?" "Maybe you could fix my lipstick and put some eyeliner on." "Sure. I can do that."
So I put her on what she wanted and pointed her towards the mirror.
"Wow. That's good." "Thank you. Now you can head downstairs and party with everyone else." "What about Haidyn?" "Haidyn's my daughter Liz. I can take care of her, I promise. You watched her for me so now you go have some fun. Elizabeth, Aiden and Melanie are out by the pool." "You have a pool?" "And a hot tub." "Awesome."
I smiled and she said,"Alright. Here I go."
I waved her off and she giggled then went downstairs. I sat on the bed with Haidyn then laid next to her.
