+Stephanie's Pov+
Me, Emily, Emery and the guys were on the third episode of YOU and it was actually getting good. Jamie and Tracy had also came back from her parents house during episode two. Gus still wasn't back yet though so I decided I'd text him.
Steph🖤: hey, where'd u go??
Peepers🖤💕: im omw back home now
Steph🖤: are u ok?..
Peepers🖤💕: im fine, ill be home in a minute
Steph🖤: ok, I'll see you when you get here
He ended up not answering me back so I just put my phone down. I was just worried about him I guess and I didn't know why. Jamie then looked at me.
"Hey, you okay?" "I'm fine. Just a little worried about Gus." "Something wrong?" "No. I'm not sure why I am, I just am." "Well, I'm sure he's fine. Don't worry." "You're right...you're right."
I sat back on the couch and just continued watching the show with everyone else.
+Lil Peep's Pov+
When I texted Stephanie and told her I was on my way back home, I meant that I was with my ex Emma that I ended up seeing on my walk. I don't know why, but she asked to go out for coffee and I said yes. I felt bad about it though just because she was my ex but...I still missed her. We were sitting in a coffee shop at a table together.
"So..how have you been?" "I've been okay. What about you?" "I've been good. I seen you got married and had a baby. Congrats!"
I smiled and she smiled back which made me happy.
"I did. And their name's are Haidyn and Stephanie." "They're beautiful." "Thanks." "I'm happy for you. I really am. And it's nice to see you smile." "Well what about you? Anything big happen? Or..have you met anyone?" "Not really. But it's still been nice." "Well, you look nice." "Thanks. You look good too. Healthy." "I feel like it." "That's good."
I looked down at my hands and she started drinking her coffee. I then looked at her again.
"Well I've gotta get home. I'll see you around?" "Yeah. Definitely." "Okay."
We both stood up and hugged each other.
"Bye Gus." "Bye."
I went outside then started on my way back home. When I got there everyone was sitting on the couch watching something together. Stephanie had Haidyn in her arms. Rocking her slightly. Since nobody noticed me I snuck upstairs and went to me and Stephanie's room. I went into the bathroom and took the xans out of my jacket pocket. I stared at them then just sat on the floor. Looking at the wall.
+Stephanie's Pov+
I went upstairs to grab my phone charger when I heard sniffling in the bathroom.
"Gus? Is that you?" "Yeah..it's me." "Are you okay?"
I got closer to the door and he locked it before I could open it.
"Did you just lock the door on me?" "Yes. I did. I don't want you in here right now, okay? Just..just leave me alone." "What's the matter?" "I don't wanna talk to you." "Gus...I don't know why you're mad at me..but I promise whatever it is, we can fix it." "Just leave me alone Stephanie. Please?"
I stood back from the door and sighed.
"Fine..I'll leave you alone."
I went back downstairs and sat back on the couch. Emery looked towards me with Haidyn in her arms and I smiled slightly.
"Are you okay Stephanie?" "I'm fine. Where'd Goth and Bexey go?" "They're in the kitchen. Are you sure you're okay?"
I looked at her hesitantly and she only waited for me to say something.
"It's just Gus. I tried to go talk to him but he said he didn't wanna talk to me. He also locked the bathroom door on me so I can't get in." "Do you have any idea at all what's wrong with him?" "I don't...I wish I did." "Well go find out. He can't get mad at you for trying to figure out what's wrong with him." "But I don't want him to be feeling some kind of way and I make it worse." "You know you want to." "Fine..I will go back and try one more time."
I went back upstairs and went to the bathroom door again.
"Gus?.."
He didn't answer but I heard the door unlock. I opened it and Gus was on the floor. I sat next to him and looked at him.
"Are you okay?" "I'm okay." "What's wrong with you though?" "Nothing."
I wrapped my arms around him and hugged him.
"I seen my ex Emma today. And we had coffee together." "Okay. And so?" "You should be mad at me. Cause she's my ex." "No. I trust you."
I sat across from him and crossed my legs together in pretzel form.
"But I'd like to know what's REALLY wrong."
He looked at me hesitantly and sat up.
"Do you..remember when you asked me how I wrote star shopping?"
I nodded and he sighed.
"I wrote it while I was high on heroine in my moms bedroom."
I looked at him in shock and sadness.
"Babe.." "I used to go hard with my drugs and I miss it like fuck. I won't lie about missing it. I just wish it didn't hurt me in the process of me taking it all. It was killing me. I was dying." "Gus...did you go and buy drugs?.." "I did.." "Did you take any?" "No. Not yet."
He pulled them out of his jacket pocket and gave it to me.
"Just get them away from me."
I looked at them and sighed.
"Gus.." "Stephanie please. I won't do it myself and I know I'm gonna take them. I don't even know why the hell I bought them." "But Gus I don't want you just sitting up here in the bathroom sad and alone." "I just need some time to myself." "I get that but, I don't want you to be by yourself." "Well I don't feel good right now and I'm not ready to get up from this spot."
I looked at him and I could see he was very serious.
"10 minutes." "30." "You're pushing it." "Give me 20 and I'll come downstairs."
I looked at him hesitantly then sighed.
"Fine." "Thank you."
I kissed his cheek then left the bathroom, making sure to close the door behind me. I looked at the xans in my hand and sighed again before I put them away and went back downstairs.
