Shibuya, an unknown arcade. 12:00. March 13th, 1999.
Chikuron came to this area for a reason, where a normal player never sets foot. He remembered who's ruined the Street Fighter Alpha 3 Tournament, and turned it into a gang war. Lillith clearly asked him for a strong team to provide her daughter's team an ideal opponent, and he got a little advance afterwards. In that case, she'll get what she asked for.
The Shibuya's Rats, as a shining star in that short month, were now only on a negative list for all arcades. Felicia kept her promise and reported to all the gangs a public violation. Raptor and his gang had already paid the price after the lose Tournament. All the gangs kicked them out of their arcade, and if they wandered into one, they kicked out quickly. There is only one place left to play, which is the bottom of the barrel. The machines could only do their job faintly, because of the broken and dropped buttons. Chikuron entered, where Raptor tried to play, but even he beat the buttons on Tekken arcade as strong as possible, it won't fix the problem. Chikuron smiled and say with ironic tone. "Look, what we got here. The shattered and hopeless gang tries to rise again, but to no avail. You have done great shit, thanks to your wise leader." "Are you barking, bastard? because if you don't stop... ""Bore me with your empty words?" Ask Chikuron and sit down one of the better seats and continue his monologue, with much serious tone. "I'm the last chance you'll ever get to play normal in your goddam life and be recognized as a champion." Raptor tried to fight back, but Rolento raised his hand, making him wait."I will not tolerate this insult any longer." Raptor grumbled, but his companion stopped him, standing before him. "First, listen to what he said, before make another mistake." "Wow. There's a sober man on your team. He had to be appointed leader, and then you wouldn't be so miserable." Chikuron put his foot in another chair, and kept his eyes on the company. Then, he continue." Let's summarize your situation. You broke a huge rule, even if it's unwritten, and now everyone hates you. You can't start a team and, on top of everything else, you could have easily avoided this problem, if you using your common sense. There's only one way to get back on the right track and be a star again, but you're gonna need my help to do that." Raptor looked at Chikuron with an ugly look, but did not speak. He continued seeing this with a smile. "At the beginning of April, a huge tournament will be held, and the prize will be quite high on all fronts. If you're on my team there, nobody won't mess with you anymore. And if that weren't a convincing enough, here's another one point. If you successfully win it, they will forget your stupidity and you will be the uncrowned kings of the arcades again."
Chikuron gave some time to think for the gang. Rolento and Splitter liked the idea, Raditz seemed like, he don't care about this offer. Raptor was the one who resisted. "Okay, I admit that our situation is under the frog's ass..." "Wrong. More like Marianna's trench or below."Chikuron threw it at him, but raptor got even more upset. "However, I will never admit a dick like you. I've never seen play in my life to admit your strength." Rolento was already afraid Chikuron would leave, but instead the guy just smiled at his statement "Is that the only thing stopping you from going along with it? All right, let's play. Name a game we'll fight in, and if I win, you will unconditionally accept me as your leader." That's when raptor gave himself a dirty smile. He knew what he was doing, because he chose his favourite game, where he had only been beaten once before. "Tekken 3." "Fine, but we're looking for a more workable machine because apparently it's a wreck."
After a half-hour, the band reached a smaller but improved arcade room, where they were about to be thrown out, but Chikuron indicated that they would only be left for one game. They sat in front of the machine and threw in coins. Raptor chose Bryan while Chikuron chose Yoshimitsu. Then something interesting happened. Chikuron put one hand behind him. "What the hell are you doing?" Raptor asked. "Simple. I win without moving my character. Why? Because, I'm gonna take care of you and your fucking self-confidence." Raptor got very pissed. He's never seen a pompous monkey in his life, and he doesn't look in the mirror. The game was fast and cruel. Yoshimitsu always cut Bryan's combo and beat him perfect in both rounds without moving a single pixel. Raptor was completely shock. He never see this kind of play. Maybe Chikuron is not a man anymore. Much more like a demon of the video games. He got down on his knees while the people watching the game were laughing loudly at him. Chikuron reached out to Raptor and helped him up. Unlike his opponent, he didn't feel anything satisfying or positive, only emptiness. "You lost, but I'm telling you, the person who put you here is in this tournament. You can take revenge on her." That's when raptor's empty brain clicked. Of course he didn't think of that. While part of the company filled out the form, Chikuron was satisfied with the situation. As soon as he got the paper back, he started talking. "Then I'll ask all of you, to be at the Taito Hey arcade in Akihabara by 2: 00 tomorrow afternoon. I've come up with a hell of a workout plan, because in this situation, you'd be out on your first day. I hope you will be prepared in this little time."
Akibahara, Taito Hey arcade parking lot, 5:00 in afternoon. April 7th, 1999.
In the parking lot, Lillith was eagerly waiting for Chikuron. She got the application papers that he handed her right into her hands. Since then, all he's done is make up his team. When Chikuron got out of the arcade, Lillith went straight for him. "What took you so long?" Lillith asked. "I'm sorry, but I had to work on a few more details to make it work the whole. When they got here, they were so lame and talentless. I hit that Raditz guy with his Weekly Shonen Jump when he gave a shit to my word. I didn't think I had two weeks of very intense training, but I successfully fixed everything." "They are professionals?" "Yes. Now I just hope they don't try to be stubborn, because then I personally guarantee they'll never, ever go to the arcade." After that, Lillith gave another bundle of money to Chikuron, who put it in his pocket with satisfaction. What he didn't realize was that she didn't hire them to defeat Daniel's team. She was more curious to know how much her younger daughter really knew. When she got back to her hotel room, she smiled. She invited Jago to come over to her room, because she was in the mood for the act. He, on the other hand, came with Bible on his hands. "What's that for?" Asked she, with a little suspicion. "It's just a safety precaution. I will read from it in action, lest I be possessed by the same demon who controls you. Condoms won't be enough." Lillith took the book from the Jago's hand and threw it against the mirror, which was broken. "I wonder why I didn't fire you for those comments?" Asked she with anger. "If you do that, then you would have no chance of knowing the reality of the rumours about your daughter and the young Fortesque? Or maybe it's because I have a Topaz pelvis and I didn't finish my first sex with you as a worm?" "Fuck you!" She screamed and pushed him to the bed, and ripped his clothes off. Jago waited for the next step, but Lillith looked at him as if she were worried about something. "Something's wrong, ma'am?" "I've had a strange feeling since we got here. you know, I've been in this business more than 20 years, and I've been building up success ever since. I'm at the highest point in my life. I feel like the greatest emperors in Rome. Everybody call me a demon, and I live in it. But what I'm feeling right now is a completely different feeling that might have come as a child. Fear." "What do you mean?" Jago asked, and he looked at Lillith who sighed a great sigh. "I mean, literally. In Makoto's case, it was easier for me, because I just handed over a fingernail of wealth, so she can use it however she want. In Akira's case, I have more to lose if I don't succeed." "True. You lose everything you can build so far. This is a weakness among the rich and they will settle on their own while you got in poor." "You couldn't even say more precisely, Jago. However, I will do so even if red snow falls! And now, leave! My mood is gone." He stood up and left Lillith's room. Did he sympathize with her? By default, yes, but he did not forget the threat she do in March. If Daniel succeeds in his plan, he'll leave Lillith forever. No one can threaten his daughter, without penalty.
