4th January, 1999. The Playstation and Nintendo 64 are the rival console in the console wars. Capcom announced Street Fighter Alpha III: 3rd Strike. Metal Gear Solid is the best video game for Playstation 1 at this time.

Ace Hotel, Los Angeles, Social Hall.
January 1st. 1999.
The place is very glamouros. Anybody, who own this is place is full of money, that's true. The Quest is come to this place nice and slowly. They talk, laugh or look at the broshure frequently. Even is this event is ceremonical, there is something wrong feeling for the normal people. Emptiness, mimical actions. Just like in a puppet theater where the puppetmaster gived us the same boring and low production at the twentieth time. The truth that is here not one but four puppetmaster's. They are seated in the VIP section. They look's was just like a security camera's. At last, the ceremony starts. The orchestra starts the song called Mendelssohn's Wedding March, while marrying couple came in. The man was in his thirties with long,brown hair walked proudly like the whole world was his hands. In contrast with the woman who's long , purple hair was clearly visible behind of the veil too. Her gaze couldn't even be seen by those nearby even she went with her head down as if it were her execution at that day. The music stops and a priest come in with the book. His face reveal one fact: He drunk as hell. When he raise his hand, the quest gone quiet.
„One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, One Ring to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them." Says his deep voice, when the event manager give the Bible and take The Lord of The Rings by Tolkien. The priest continue the ceremony. „Sir Daniel Michael Fortesque! Do you accept Akira Oono as your wife? Do you promise to be a loveable husband and take care of her until death do you apart?" „Yes." answer Daniel. After that, the priest turn to Oono. „Akira Oono! Do you accept Sir Daniel Michael Fortesque as your husband? Do you promise to be a good wife and tahe care of him until death take you apart?" Oono just nod her head, but the priest not notice that. „I ask something, if you notice. Yes, no, or maybe?" says the priest with impatiently, when the event director said the obvius: She can't speak and nod her head, so the answer is yes. The priest want to leave this place now, but money is money. After that, he calm down and say the last sentence of his role. „From now on, you are husband and wife. You can kiss each other."
The couple turned at an angle so everyone could see their kisses. But, there was a screw in it! As they stood, all that could be noticed was that was just a fake kiss who was a professional at exposing the visual tricks. Daniel and Oono not planed to live their life's together. They have another goal's. They dont want to dance like how they're mother and father whistled. They want to cut the puppet's threads once and for all. They want to live like anybody else: A free man!

Fortetsque Mansion, December 27th. 1998.

Now, let's take back in time, to understand, why Akira decide to do this. The Fortesque mansion is one of the most beautiful and mightiest building in America. After all, there's a lot to cut into the milk if the head of the family owns Interbank, which runs a huge cash-flow business 24 hours a day. Akira Oono designated husband is the Interbank CEO only son. He is called Daniel.

Akira waiting in the ballroom. Her mother said that: You marry a 24-year-old, wise and capable man Do not screw that." But honestly she didn't care, because she hates her family. She was always expected to be professional, and in return, he didn't even get a thank you for it. Akira sighted and look in to the mirror. All of her beauties lies in her eyes and aura. Her hair down to her chest was now braided behind. She didn't like to wear it like that, but snobs like her mother never care what's good for her daughter, beacuse she is so self-absorbed, like the rest. Suddenly the door opened and a young man entered. „So, you are Akira Oono? What a great pleasure." Said in a dignified voice. Akira just rolled her eyes, which she seemed to say: „No. I'm the Queen of England, you jackass." She overcame the urge to behead this idiot right now. She had already sent two jerk claimants for sick pay for at least three months. The guy continue the talk. „My name is... Excuse me! Would you kindly to go away?" He asked because to the inspector, who was sent out by Oono's family. „Sorry, but no. That's my job after all." Answer the inspector with senseless voice and Akira's face flinched in anger for a moment. Daniel wasn't desperate, he took $ 200 and slipped it into his pocket." Now, get out of here with this little money and we'll pretend you were here. If you don't leave, I'll tell my parents that you only came here to steal the family jewels, and that's gonna be... bad for you. You've been busted before, haven't you?" Ask Daniel with a smile on his face. and te inspector shocked. Without a word, he turned around and went to the media room."At last! This guy's is the pain in the ass." Grovls Daniel, and turned to Akira. He caught the corner of his eye to she smile for half a moment. „Well, now we can have a normal conversation. What do you do to pass the time when you don't have to do some snobby job?" Ask Daniel, but Akira does not react. She just sit down and drink a cup of tea." Hey, listen! I don't wanna do this too. The only reason you have to marry me is, because your parents fucked up a financial hand and now they're gonna compensate for it. Or it's gonna be as bust as Atari 5200." said Daniel and síp a cup of tea. Akira was curious about the man for the first time and not for target his nuts, especially since his favorite theme was brought up: the video games. Whenever got opportunity, she go to the nearest arcade station silently. Unfortunately, these number close to the zero percent. „ I see I'm on to something that you love. Although, I guess you won't be saying much about it either. However, to avoid wasting today's meeting..." Said Daniel and stand up. He got up and took a miniature arcade machine out of the nearest cabinet and put it on the table. „'m very good with electronics, and a friend of mine gave me some extra parts from an old machine." Explaining Daniel and then he turned on.

The screen light up and show Final Fight intro comes in. Akira was flooded with memories when the game came in. This is the first co-op game, which play so many times with her boyfriend, Yaguchi. there was only a hump on his back then, but his kindness and the fact that he was equal to him slowly made her fall in love. She started crying softly. She's never shown her feelings since she left Japan, but she know one thing: She could do it in front of Daniel. Daniel hugged her. „I bet you have a lot of memories in this game. Same as mine. I've cleaned out criminals on the streets of Metro City so many times." Said Daniel when Akira calm down. „As soon as you had all tears, you jump on it." Akira calms down in five minutes, she start the game with selecting Haggar. She knew the game in his sleep and pushed the first two tracks without damage. „You are awesome." Daniel said in appreciation. „Can I join in?" Akira just nodded her haid and made room for him. Daniel select Guy to help her in the third stage. She could see that her partner should not be feared either, for he was playing as a blood pro. When the last boss was dealt with, Daniel's smile was almost like ear to ear. „At last! Thank God I'm can find rich people who are not idiot. But I do have a question, seeing as how you didn't just cry because you used to play this game. Who does this game connect you to?" Akira hesitates, because nobody want to knows her feelings. But now, she felt it was safe to show him her secret. She reached into her shirt and took out two necklaces. one of them had a game ring that Yaguchi won from a vending machine long time ago. The other was a series of photos of her and Yaguchi, when they were once photographed together. She always hid it when nobody see, so some waitress wouldn't rat on her mother. Daniel watch the photopraph closely. „Is he your Love interest? Seems like a solid and decent guy." Said and give back the picture. Akira nooded, when Daniel go to the window. He open up and light a cigarete. After smoking a cigarette, he asked:„Tell me, do you want to get together with Yaguchi and live your life free?" Akira looked him confuse. That's a joke, isnt't it? He knows that neither his parents nor his own will agree to this. Daniel notice the hesitasion, and continue the talk. „ It's not gonna be easy, but let me tell you something: I don't like that we're treat like puppies either. And this marriage just like a bad joke. So, it's just good for both of us to get out this mess." Akira pointing him, just like asking: What's good for this plan for you? Dan pushed the end of the cigarette into the ash tray and closed the window. „My goal is to do with what I like: Open a console and computer specialty store. I've always loved games and electronics. And let be honest: It won't go as long as our families dictates over our heads. So, I ask the question again: you want to spend the rest of your life with him and help me break down the illusion that we're being controlled?" Akira hugged him so tightly, he had a few broken ribs. „That mean yes to me." said Daniel it in a very vague way, and then he breathed as soon as her lungs weren't constricted. „By the way, where does this guy live?" She took out a map of Japan ans she he pointed to the prefecture where his love was live. „That's good. There's a subsidiary company for my parents. We simply say that: We are going on a honeymoon there to make sure everything is okay there. That way, they won't suspect a thing. If you're in, we'll start a chain of events." Daniel raised his fist to her. Akira clung to him. This began their story of freedom.

January 5th. 1999.

The private jet is almost out of America. Akira and Daniel plays Streets of Rage 2 on a special Sega Genesis which has a little TV on it. She had no idea that not one thing in Japan had changed.
