The school day was long and boring. Beacon hills had no where near as much action as France.

Charlotte was waiting by her motorbike, picking at her finger nails. She saw Liam stood over by the gate with Theo. The school was basically deserted, only a few students were still there but Liam was still being very cautious.

Charlotte tried her best not to listen in, to intrude on her brothers love life but it was hard not hearing.

They were mostly talking about seeing each other at the weekend.

Liam looked around at his surroundings until he stood up on his tip toes and kissed Theo, his hands pressed themselves on Theo's cheeks until he pulled away and shyly walked towards Charlotte.

She smirked as his eyes stayed glued to the floor. When he approached her, he looked up and his face was burned red.

"How was your make out sesh?" She smirked again.

"I.." his cheeks flushed red.

"Chillax, bro, I was messing. You ready to go?"

"Yeah."

Once they got home, Charlotte threw her bag on the kitchen island and pushed herself onto the counter.

Liam walked in and stared at her. She picked up a bottle of coke and drank a huge mouthful.

Liam cleared his throat to get her attention and she put the bottle down.

"What?" She asked.

"Can we talk about this morning?" He said awkwardly.

She sighed. "When.. I was in France, for the first few months, I became increasingly depressed and anxious, I was in the hospital multiple times for.. failed suicide attempts. Of course, mum was notified but she never came down to visit, make sure I was ok, she never called, never even sent me a text. She clearly never told you either."

"I.. no she never said a word to me."

"It's fine now, I'ts ok." She lied.

"It's not ok. She hid it from me, she didn't tell me that you could have died." He said, mortified.
"Li, I promise you, I'm ok now." She lied again.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

He walked over to Charlotte and hugged her tightly. "I have to go out to meet Scott but can we order food later?"

"Yeah that sounds great."

"OK, well, I'll see you later."

"Bye, Li."

Liam walked out of the door and closed it behind himself. Charlotte sighed and ran her hands through her hair, knowing that she had just lied to her brother. She went over and sat on the sofa to turn the TV on but before she even got the chance to grab the remote, there was a knock at the door.

Charlotte sighed and stood up, she walked over to the door and unlocked it. Theo stood behind the door with his jacket flung over his arm.

"Liam isn't here right now." She said as she rubbed her face with her hands.

"I was actually here for you." He said as he walked past her and into the house.

"Ok... then, come in, I guess." She closed the door and turned around to the kitchen where Theo was looking in the cupboards.

"Um.. what are you doing?" She stood in the door way and asked.

"I'm looking for your alcohol. You have some, right?" He held his hands on the cupboards and turned to face her.
