Liam
Even though I was mad at her, her leaving was the last thing I wanted.
She sped around the kitchen grabbing random items and putting them in her bag. I could still hear Stiles upstairs and I had no idea what was going on.
"What do you mean you're leaving?" I asked.
Theo stood behind me with a hand in my shoulder.
"Everyone around me hates me and I... I need to leave.. I need space." She rambled not really paying any attention to me.
It was the most painful thing to hear she though I hated her, I didn't, I could never, no matter what happened I would always be by her side.
"Come on, Charlie, stay. You don't need to go anywhere, we'll give you all the space you need." I said, trying to reason with her.
"I ruin everything, every friendship, relationship I have ever had my mouth and my Brian ducks it up. Why am I broken?" She looked at me finally, tears swarmed in her eyes and her hands were shaking.
I walked over to her and grabbed her hands, she was freezing and I almost pulled back out of shock but I didn't want her to be even more upset. I pulled her close to me and hugged her body against mine, I didn't know what was going on in her head but I knew that she couldn't deal with it herself and I don't want her to end up in hospital again, thats the last thing anyone needs.
"You haven't done anything. Shit happens, ok? Mum will be fine and I'm not angry with you." I said, choosing me words carefully.
"Now I've upset Stiles too." She said sniffling.
"How?"
"He was trying to talk to me and we just ended up arguing and he said he loved me but I didn't say it back, I just yelled at him again." She whispered.
I didn't know she would hurt Stiles, I could see how much she loved him, how much they loved each other, it was obvious to everyone. I needed todo something g to help her, that much was clear.
"You'll be ok, I promise you that Stiles won't stay mad at you and you won't stay mad at him."
She pulled away from me and looked at the door frame, I turned to look too and saw that Stiles was stood in the door frame. She wiped her nose on her sleeve and walked over to him, opening the front door and stepping out with him. I chose not to eavesdrop, I wanted to give her some privacy.
Theo walked over to me and wrapped his arms around my neck.
"That was really cute." He smiled.
"Was it now?" I smirk and he presses his lips to mine.
I tangled my hands in his hair and pulled gently at the roots, he breathed into my mouth and stroked the back of my neck with his fingers.
Charlotte walked inside and closed the door after herself, I pulled away from Theo and walked over to her.
"Is everything ok?" I asked.
"Yeah, I need a little space so I'm going to text him when I want to see him. We haven't broken up though so that's good, right?" She asked looking at me for reassurance as if there were some magical answer I could give her for her relationship.
"Yeah, it is, as long as you do text him, don't ignore him forever, you need him more than you know." I said hoping I had the right words.
"I won't." She said quietly.
"You should sleep now, you need to take a rest and let your body relax for a while." I said with a gentle smile.
She nodded and walked up the stairs, I watched her until she disappeared around the corner and breathed out a long breath, I was exhausted from worrying about her and I was glad she was talking again, it was an improvement but I had to do something that would make her upset but I didn't have a choice.
