Charlotte

I got off the phone with Stiles and he had invited me over to his house, I needed to speak to him about something that's been on my mind recently.

I walked over to my wardrobe and decided to actually get dressed for the first time in a week, I pulled on some baggy jeans and a graphic t shirt. It was simple but I was just happy I finally had the energy to actually change my clothes.

I grab my phone and shove it in my pocket, I would've called Stiles and asked him to pick me up but I felt the need to get up and go out and actually walk somewhere.

I knew that my meds were starting to at least ease my mania somewhat and I felt peace drawing over my brain, all of the voices pushed away to a dull noise.

It took me nearly an hour to walk to his house but it didn't bother me, I was happy to be out.

I exhale slowly before knocking on the door, a few seconds later, sheriff Stilinski opens the door and something is off about him. His chemo signals were all over the place, when I met him first he was nothing but kind and warm and open but he had changed and I knew it was because of what they'd seen in the woods.

"Hey, Charlotte." He said welcoming me and I was put a little at ease.

"Hey.. Um... Stiles invited me over,z I hope that's ok." I said nervously.

"Of course, he's upstairs." He said, moving out of the way so that I can walk in.

I immediately make my way to the stairs, trying to get away from sheriff Stilinski as quickly as possible.

I knock on Stiles's door before opening it, he's stood in the middle of his room, I assumed he had been pacing. I walked over to him and hugged him tightly.

He was a little taken aback at first until he wraps his arms tightly around me, squeezing my body into his. I inhaled his scent as deeply as deeply as I could, the smell of aftershave filled my nose and I finally felt like I was home, like I was where I always should've been.

"Hi." I said warmly.

"Hi." He repeated.

He pulled away a little too quickly for my liking but he grabbed my hand and pulled me onto the bed until we were both sat on the edge with my legs crossed and his hanging off the edge.

"What did you need to talk to me about?" He asked.

That was the part I wasn't ready for. I had been trying to repeat the script again and again in my head but every time I scrapped it.

"I... I've got some unfinished business and I'm sure you have already thought about it but I..." I sighed. "I can't let Monroe get away again, I.. I have to go after her and find her, I can't let her hurt other people like she's hurt me and my pack. I killed her dad and I thought that was it but no. I have to." I hadn't intended for it to come out as rambled sentences but that's what happened. He stayed silent the whole time and it made me more nervous and when I get nervous I start rambling.

"Y.. you're leaving?" He asked, I could hear the shake in his voice and I honestly couldn't stand it, I wanted to cry.

"I.. I have to." I couldn't look at him so I didn't, I looked down at the floor.

"But you can't leave, I need you, Liam needs you, Cora and Fiona need you." His voice is agonising.

"Fiona and Cora have survived without me before and they can do it again. Liam will be ok, he has Theo. I don't want to leave you, I really don't." A tear falls down my cheek and suddenly I feel his hand on my knee and I looked up at him.
