Amy

Just before Liam left, I had him put his number in my phone, I texted him as I was walking towards the alley way, my heart hammering in my chest.

I suddenly became very defensive at the smell of blood, was she hurt?

I approached cautiously, I didn't know whether she would be upset or mad or genuinely just crazy, she's been through all the motions when off her pills but from what Liam had told me she seemed to be crazy. Great.

She was leaning against the wall almost smugly, she was smiling to herself about something which concerned me even more.

I walked over to her and stood just a little distance away, I wasn't scared that she'd hurt me, she'd never, I just didn't know how in control she was.

Usually when she is off her meds, which hasn't actually happened all that much, to be fair, she's not very well in control of her werewolf side, maybe this time is different, maybe not.

She turned to face me and her smile dropped from smug to nice, however her eyes still told me that she was sinister.

"You flushed your pills?" I asked.

"I don't need them, they're bullshit." She said.

"No they're not. They keep your head in line."

"It doesn't matter, they're gone now anyway."

I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair, "Charlotte, why are you here, I mean, here of all places?" I asked.

"Because I killed someone down here." She said and her smile dropped  all together, however, she still wasn't sad or remorseful, which creeped me out.

Usually Charlotte hated killing people, she never did it when she was on her meds, when she had a stable head on her shoulders.

"Why?" I asked quietly.

"Do you remember the night of when I confessed?" She asked and I nodded. "It was him, the guy who shot me, I found him and I pressured him for answers-" she started.

"You tortured him?" I asked, shocked. From what I knew, she never tortured the people she killed, she always just killed them and that was the end of it.

"It doesn't matter," she shook her head, "well, I asked him some questions and he told me that he was working with a woman-"

"So?" I asked.

"God, would you stop interrupting me?" She said rather aggressively. "He said that this woman was working with a man and this man was..." she left the sentence hanging so that I could finish it, only one name came to mind.

"Ademar Duron?" I guessed, I sighed knowing that she had gone to some conclusion. He was dead, there was no way he would be alive and that wasn't even a question in my mind.

"Exactly, and that's not even the biggest kick to the balls, the woman who wants to kill me now, that's his daughter. Her name is Monroe-"

"Hold on, you're going ridiculously fast, so Duron has a daughter, does she know you killed him?"

"Probably, I mean, why else would she want to kill me?"

"I could think of a few reasons." I sighed again but she ignored my comment. "Wait, so you got all of this information out of the guy that shot you?" It seemed a bit unbelievable.

"Oh, no, no, no. I took one of Liam's classmates back to a hotel I was staying at."

"Did he want to go with you?" I asked cautiously.

"Well... no, but-"

"You kidnapped him?!" I was appalled.

"You're not listening to me-"

"No, Charlotte, you're not listening to yourself, you kidnapped someone, what happens if he tells people, huh? How will you fix that?" It was a new low for Charlotte, she had never been this careless before, she had always thought about what would happen after.

"He won't."

"How do you know?"

"He won't." She said sternly.

"Why am I here? Did you invite me here just to tell me of your latest crimes?" I asked, I was fed up with her, she didn't know what she was doing, she didn't even realise how bad the things she was doing were.

"I figured you'd want to know." She shrugged.

"Charlotte, you need to take your meds." I said quietly.

"No, I don't. Don't you get it? Of course you don't, non of you do, my meds hold me back, I never would have found out anything if I was on them." She said.

"Well, now you've found it all out, can't you go back on them? I mean, it'll only get worse from here."

"No it won't because I have it under control."

"This doesn't seem very controlled to me, you killed someone, you kidnapped someone, lord knows what else, Charlotte, you'd never do this, ever."

"Maybe that's a good thing, it's so much easier to get what you want when you're tough on people."

She genuinely sounded like she was crazy, she wasn't ok and she would only get worse with time. Her words were rushed and harsh, she spoke quickly and almost frantically, I knew that I had to do something but I wasn't sure what.

I looked at the floor and tried to blink the tears out of my eyes, I was hurt for her, my alpha. Hearing her talk like this was almost painful and I knew that if we got her back onto her meds she would feel so guilty for what she had done.

"Charlotte... look, I've got to go.. I need to talk to Cora about what we are going to do about all of this. I'm going to see your brother and you should too, he's really shaken up about all of this." I said.

She didn't say anything and I walked away, I didn't turn back around to look at her, I probably would've ended up crying.

I was really stressed as it is, my mother was sick and my father was at home with her all day, I pretty much had to move out, my parents never said it but they couldn't afford all of the food that they were having to bring in.

While I was in France with Charlotte, they were steady with their money, they had enough to survive on but I was a whole other set of bills so it was for the best if I moved in with the girls.

It wasn't bad though, I got a small part time job and sent my parents at least half of my pay check every week, not that they wanted it but I wanted to contribute. The rest of the money I put towards the bills for food and water and everything else in the house with the girls, I never had any money for myself but I never complained because I wanted to put in my share.

I did feel bad for Charlotte, she didn't have an easy home life either with her parents, she told me that she had to work for her and Liam because her mother was always out and her dad left.

It wasn't easy on her but she was very strong and she didn't let it get her down.

Back at the house, I had Theo and Liam wait and I had called Stiles over so that I could tell them all what she said, I wanted them to know, I think they needed to.
