Charlotte

I spent all day just people watching, I went into town and sat on one of the benches, I wanted to see how normal people went about their day.

It was sort of peaceful, within the two years I had been an alpha, I hadn't had much time to focus on everyone else, I only had time for my pack, rarely focusing on myself.

It was refreshing to see couples sharing food and people walking around without a worry in the world.

There wasn't a day that I hadn't had something to worry about, had I taken my pills? How is my pack doing? Should I call Liam? Is Amy alright? How are they going to get through the full moon? How's it going with the thing in that place?

A million worries were always on my mind and sometimes it became too much which was when I would either go off my pills or do something stupid, sometimes even both.

Liam

After we all finished talking, Theo and I left the girls to talk it out between the three of them, as it was their alpha and their pack I decided that they needed to talk this through thoroughly.

Theo and I got in his car and we silently drove back to my house. It was very awkward unlike other silences we've had.

As we pulled up to the house, I looked over at Theo and he looked back.

"You wanna come in?" I asked.

"You need company?" He smirked very slightly.

"It'd be nice." I said.

He smiled and turned the keys, turning off the engine.

I smiled and pulled my bottom lip between my teeth trying to suppress my smile even the tiniest bit but it didn't really work.

I opened the car door and stood out of the car, stretching out my arms as I closed the door.

We walked over to the house, Theo following closely behind me, I unlocked the door and closed it after Theo walked in.

"So how do you know she wasn't taking her meds?" Theo asked.

"Stiles told us but he could tell because her pills were new just before that night and you could tell that they weren't touched." I said.

"What if she has been taking them? I mean, maybe she grabbed them when she came home." He suggested.

It didn't really make sense what he was saying but I decided to think into it. It could be plausible, I mean, she was acting crazy but it was best to consider everything.

"I don't think she would have but we can check." I said.

I went up the stairs and Theo followed after me. We walked into Charlotte's room and nothing really looked different except the bathroom door was open slightly.

I walked over to her bed and looked on the nightstand but it was bare, her keys, her meds and her money was gone.

I opened the drawer but again, there was nothing.

"Fuck. Where are they?" I asked.

"Um... Liam, you might wanna see this." Theo said.

I turned around and he was stood in the doorway to her en-suite, I rushed over to him and stood on my tip toes to peek over his shoulder to see what he was looking at.

Two pill bottles lay on the floor with the caps discarded too.

"Oh fuck." I said.

"Now what do we do?" Theo asked.
