We all silently made our way back to the sofas, Amy and I sat back on the same bean bags but Liam decided not to sit next to Theo. I knew that I had probably ruined things between them but I was sure that this wouldn't break them. After what they've been through, I'm sure that they could pull through. I felt guilty still, I mean, I'd been there for two and a half weeks and I'd already made more trouble than anything else.

It was awkward for a while, no one said anything, which was strange for such a large group of people, but this seemed to have stunned them. I sat with my hands clasped against my crossed legs, I think that every inch of my body was sweating.

Scott coughed slightly, earning everyone's eyes on him, which was what he wanted. "Ok, so why didn't you tell us you were an alpha? I mean, it's nothing that should be hidden." He stared directly at me the whole time.

"Because of what happened tonight, and what happened near Stiles's house. I made some... enemies, shall we say, when I lived in France and, turns out, they still hold a grudge." I said without looking up from the floor.

"Wait... Stiles's house?" Lydia asked.

"You knew?" Malia accused, staring at Stiles, she sounded almost angry at him for keeping such a big secret.

I bit my teeth together and immediately regretted what I had said. Stiles shot me a look and I knew that it was my job to fix this.

"I.. I told him not to. I didn't want any of you to find out, this was supposed to be my problem. I was here to help and I had to stay as discrete as possible, so that nothing like this happened." I said, everyone seemed to relax.

"What did you do to annoy the people in France?" Isaac asked.

"I... killed some of their men.." they started to protest before I continued, "they were hunting down the supernatural, much like in your town, everyone was beginning to see what was really happening. So many of my friends were killed, members of my pack, I even had a boyfriend who they killed right in front of me. They showed no mercy so the only way to help was to... kill them." Tears threatened to spill from my eyes and I wasn't sure if I was tired or if I was genuinely upset.

My boyfriend's name was Oliver, he had short black hair and he was a lot taller than me. He was one of the nicest people I'd ever met and I genuinely did think that I loved him. I had decided to wait a while before we moved further than first base, I wasn't ready. But I could tell that if I had stayed in France with him, he probably would've been the one.

"Wait.. so, why did Stiles know?" Isaac asked.

"I was on my way to his house, he was going to help me with some homework," I quickly lied, "and I was encountered with the same sort of situation, I made my way to his house and he helped me out, I had to explain stuff to him, I couldn't just leave him." I said.

"Then why couldn't you tell us? If you could tell Stiles, how come you couldn't tell us?" Lydia asked.

"Because, there more people that know, the more at risk I am. Word gets around in a small town and if they find out where I am, which they have done, then I'm as good as dead."

"Who was that guy in the mask?" Malia asked.

I stood up abruptly, suddenly very annoyed, "I don't know, ok? I only know that they want to kill me and that they probably will do." I exhaled loudly and felt Amy's hand on my shoulder.

"You need to tell us everything." Liam finally spoke.

"I'm trying to." I snapped. "I don't know what else I'm supposed to tell you."
