Liam
When we arrived at school, Theo and I got out of his car and went inside. We waited until class was supposed to start and parted ways.
I counted the minutes as I waited for break to finally arrive. I needed to see Charlotte, whether she would actually see me, I didn't know. Once the bell rang, I was the first out of the classroom. When she first started at our school she gave me a copy of her time table just in case I ever needed to find her.
I pulled the piece of paper out of my pocket and searched until I found that she would be in English. I pretty much ran over to her classroom and waited by the door. As soon as she saw me waiting for her, she scoffed and walked away. I ran after her and had to almost run to keep up with her.
"Jeez, since when did you become so fast?" I panted.
She simply huffed out a breath and continued walking.
"C'mon, Charlie, can we please talk?"
"I already said everything I needed to."
"Well, I haven't."
She stopped walking and sighed loudly. "Fine, talk to me at lunch. Meet me outside my psychology class." She walked away.
My stomach turned and I walked outside, I looked over the yard until Scott called me over to the table where everyone was already sat. I put my bag down on the floor and sat next to Theo, he could sense my stress and anxiety and he put a comforting hand on my thigh. I smiled slightly at him without drawing too much attention.
"Ugh, what's that smell?" Malia asked as she scrunched her nose in disgust.
"Me, I had an argument with Charlotte and now she wants to 'speak'." I said.
"Is that why she's sat alone?" Malia asked.
I looked around and saw that she was right, Charlotte was sat alone on one of the benches, she was looking at something on her phone and I felt my stomach turn with guilt.
"I feel really bad about it." I looked down at Theo's hand on my thigh.
"Why? What did you do?" Scott asked.
I subtly looked over at Theo. "Well, obviously, I couldn't stay at home all day because of the 'injuries' so I went to stay with a friend but I'd come home at night and she wasn't there."
"Where was she?" Lydia asked.
I looked up to meet Stiles's eyes. "She said she was staying at her friend Amy's house because she didn't want to be in our house all alone."
"So whys she mad?" Scott asked.
"She's been here for two weeks and I've only been there for one, she's mad that I haven't seen her."
"Well, we can see both of these sides, but she won't see it unless you want to tell her that you're a werewolf." Lydia said.
Charlotte
I had been absently scrolling through my phone for the entirety of break, I was listening to what Liam was saying. One thing I could say for him, he was a great liar, I didn't hear his heart falter once, never missed a beat, never quicker pace, they would never have figured him out.
I was surprised when he lied for me,he didn't tell the group about me and Stiles, to be fair, he probably knew I could expose him but I don't think that was his reason.
The bell rang and I made my way to my third class, Physics. I sat down at the desk and put my head phones in, I folded my arms on the table and placed my head down.
