Charlotte

I was buzzing with anger, it seemed that I had gained some confidence now that my friends were with me. I didn't realise just how bad my state was, looking back I was definitely manic, I had been off my meds for a few days and in less than a few minutes my mind set had changed. I was angry but full of adrenaline and even though that was good to heal my wrists it definitely wasn't good for everyone around me.

"And why is that?" I snarked, "because I killed off poor daddy?" I smirked as her face grew sour. I wasn't scared of her, of any of them, we could easily beat them.

The only guns in the room were those stacked on the shelves, non of them were actually holding guns.

"More than that." She said between gritted teeth. "Your kind is a disease, an illness and you need to be eliminated before you can spread." She spat and I laughed.

"We are only doing what's right." Sean said.

I scoffed. "You don't even know what the word 'right' means. You abandoned our mother and us but you know what? I'm glad, you deserve her and she deserves you. Two shitty people, whAt could be better?" I smirked.

"You are exactly like me." He smiled and anger rose in my stomach. "You are going to fuck them up, you've already hurt your brother, he can't stand you, you've let down your pack - they deserved a better leader. And your boyfriend. He's the only human out of all of you and you are corrupting him with your ways."

His words cut me like a knife, normally I would have been able to ignore it, knowing that it wasn't true but all of these voices started to attack my brain.

They hate you.

They would be better off without you.

This is all of your fault.

They wouldn't be in this mess if it wasn't for you.

Why are you still here?

You know that you can't protect them.

I wanted it to shut up, I needed it to, I couldn't even think.

"Shut up, shut up, shut up." I said to the voices but they didn't.

"I want to kill you myself, watch as you bleed out just as you did my father." Monroe said taking a step towards me, I could hardly hear her as the voices became louder and louder.

I felt an hand in my stomach, pushing me back. I looked up to see Liam pushing me back trying to protect me. Monroe stood still.

Liam stood just as tall as me but he was much more muscular than me, at that point he was probably just as strong as me. He definitely seemed more threatening.

There was 11 of us - and Nolan - and probably three times more of them.

Monroe sighed. "Just kill them." She says and all of her followers start walk towards us. I force my fangs out and my eyes turn red, my claws extending from my fingers.

I felt a tug on my body, Liam was pulling me back with him and although I didn't want to, I didn't really have much of a choice. He pulled my body back and we made our way towards the cut and they all came running towards us.

As Scott and Theo struggled with the door, I took my stance, ready to attack whoever I needed to.

"Lydia, do something." Stiles said frantically.

Lydia pushed her hands out in front of her body and a scream ripped through her body, my hands clamped down in my ears as her screech sent everyone in front of her tumbling to the floor, painfully covering their eyes as they knelt on the floor.

I felt another tug but on my arm this time, I turned around to see Stiles pulling me along with him, through the open door. I grabbed Lydia along with us and we ran down the tunnels, I didn't speed up to catch up with the other in front, I ran a comfortable pace at the back with Lydia and Stiles to protect them if anything happened.

As we came near to the entrance of the tunnels, sunlight flooding the space, the trees only just visible, I heard loud noises raining out from behind us. It was the sound of footsteps but there was something else, the faint patting of a gun hitting a persons leg as they ran with it in front of them secured to their body, I'd been around enough dangerous people to distinguish the sound well.

We made our way out of the tunnel but we were quickly caught up with by the mob that had been following us.

We stood in the clearing in the forest and took our stance, waiting for them to come into view, and when they did, it was worse than I had thought. Each of them had a weapon secured to them, I counted 29 people in total including Sean and Monroe. That's easily 29 guns, excluding the fact that I knew Monroe had at least two on her person at any one time.

The mob stood facing us and it genuinely looked like a war ground. Mondo and Sean stepped forwards so that they were at least a little bit in front, trying to prove that they were in charge of their side.

"We can do this the easy way or the hard way, we can kill you, quick, done or you can fight and end up dead in the end anyway." Monroe yelled over to us and I found it amusing how she even considered we would go down without fighting.

"Go fuck yourself." I shouted loudly, louder than I needed to just to exaggerate my point. "You're a coward, you don't care about the supernatural, you want to kill me this is just a front."

She raised an eyebrow at me. "Just kill them." She said turning her head to look at them and they charged at us and we did the same.

It was all so exhilarating. I felt alive even though I could very well be minutes away from dying. I needed to feel powerful again and I did that by slamming my fist as hard as I could into someone's face, it was a man who was easily twice my size.

I don't know why they didn't use their guns, it would have been much easier for them but maybe they were just for show. I heard a loud snap and his body fell to the floor, I had snapped his neck and it felt damn good.

We all stood fighting - united. It felt so good to finally be free to do whatever I wanted to these people.

I slashed through their skin, leaving their clothes bloody. I slammed my fists into their face leaving their body battered. It felt amazing.

I occasionally looked around at the others to see them fighting for themselves and I wasn't worried.

After just a few minutes, a car pulled up and two men stepped out, I gave it half of my attention as I dug my claws into a woman's throat. One of the men I recognised to be Derek Hale and I felt a little relief wash over me at the fact that they're on our side but I didn't recognise the second man, he looked older and he was carrying a gun which made me sure he was human.

I looked around to see 27 bodies lying on the floor, not all dead but all of them injured. I smiled at the sight, we had done it. Now it was a matter of Sean and Monroe.
