Charlotte

We all came together and stared at Monroe and Sean. Monroes face was contorted into that of anger and hate, she wanted to watch us die but her army had fallen.

We all stared at them, Derek and the other man walked over behind them. The other man held his hand onto Monroes shoulder and pushed her body down onto the floor, her knees hitting the grass and Derek hit a swift kick into the back of my dads knee sending him to the floor as well.

I walked forwards a delighted smile on my face and Monroe did her everything to not look at me but Sean stared at me the whole time. I knelt down in front of them, one of my knees on the floor.

"This must have been what my banshee said when something big was coming, I had no idea it would feel so good to look at your faces as you realise... you lost." I whispered the last part, a grin sat on my face. I stood up and looked down at them. "Now, what to do with you?" I question to no one in particular.

"Charlotte." Liam said from behind me and I turned around expecting a suggestion. "We need to go home." He said and my face dropped.

"What are you talking about?" I asked.

"You need to get back on your meds... you're completely out of it." He said.

"I've never felt more in control." I smiled.

"Come on, Charlie, we should go." He said softly. He knew that usually I would do anything when he called me that but apparently I was too far gone to sympathise.

"We need to stay, they need to die. I want to carve out their throats." I said pressing a claw to my fathers throat.

"Charlotte." Stiles said next to my ear with his hands on my shoulders, he was very lightly pulling me back trying to encourage me to leave.

"No.. I can't leave." I said trying to convince him and everyone else.

"Charlotte we gotta go, you need to sleep." Cora said.

I quickly pulled away from Stiles. "Will everyone stop telling me what I need and just.. just let me think for a second?" I huffed pushing my hair back.

"See what I mean?" Sean asked and I looked down at him. "They're sick of you acting like you can do whatever you want. You are nothing more than a chore for them to deal with."

"Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!" I yell, everyone's voices were sending me insane. My brain couldn't handle everything at once and I felt like I was going to explode.

All of a sudden, Monroe ripped her elbow backwards, hitting the guy straight in the face, he toppled backwards as she took this as her chance to get into one of the cars. She didn't leave at first and I thought that she was waiting for Sean. But then she pulled out and drove away, I stared at her car, fire flashing though my eyes but I wouldn't be able to catch up with her even if I tried.

After almost a minute of staring at where her car had now disappeared, I turned my attention to my father.

I stared at him in the same way I had down to her, hate and anger.

The next few things happened in a matter of seconds, almost too quick for my brain to comprehend it.

He pulled out a small pistol and aimed it at Derek's foot, shooting him and making him fall backwards, I lunged forwards trying to take the gun for him as he stood up but he shot it again - I thought he was aiming for me but he complete missed, he brought the gun to the side of me and I knew he was aiming at Stiles.

I lifted my hand and ripped my claws straight down his torso, his skin was warm under my claws as the dragged as for down as I possibly could. He stumbled for a second, the gun falling from his hand before he fell forwards, onto his knees before his body dropped face first into the ground.

I finally felt at peace until something painful ripped through my entire body.

Like my heart had been ripped from my chest, fire lit up all over my body and my fingers started to tingle until it became unbearable pain. I couldn't comprehend what it was until less than a second later it felt like a punch had been delivered straight into my stomach and my eyes slowly slid across the floor until they landed on the group of people that were my friends huddled around something. Or someone. Trying to aid whoever it was.

I ran over quickly, pushing someone out of the way, I didn't even pay attention to who it was as I saw Amy lay on the floor clutching her chest with blood soaking through her fingers, a pained expression took over her face and my body felt right next to her.

I lifted her head and rested it on my lap, I went into shock.

Tears fell down my cheeks uncontrollably.

She let out a pained breath and looked up at my face.

"I'm sorry..." she whispered, choking out some blood.

"You didn't do anything... ok? You just need to hang on and we will get you better ok?" I said frantically, trying to convince myself just as much as her.

My hand took place of hers and I held down on the wound.

"We did it.. we got you back." She smiled weakly.

"No...you can't... we will help you.. you'll be fine." I cried placing my spare hand on her cheek.

Her eyes closed for a second and another wave of pain washed over me.

"It's ok.. you need to go now... save everyone." She breathed slowly. Her breaths became shallow and I felt as if pieces of my heart were being ripped out with every breath.

I felt our connection, what I usually felt in the back of my mind and all over my body to make sure she was ok, I felt it crumbling, feeling further and further away.

I brushed a piece of hair behind her ears and I stared into her eyes, the beautiful blue that they were, filled with tears and pain, knowing that I would probably never get to do it again.

"I'm sorry.. this is all my fault you never should have had to come to me... I should've been protecting you and now you-" she cut me off before I could finish knowing that it would be too painful for me to say.

"It's ok.. I don't want you to be in pain... you need to know that I... I love you, thank you for being my friend, my mentor... I'm glad you're here." She whispered before closing her eyes, her body fell still and her chest collapsed, falling completely still.

I felt like a child trying to catch a balloon but that ballon was Amy's life slipping through my fingers with every passing second.

I lent down and placed a long lingering kiss to her forehead before sitting back up, a scream erupted from somewhere in my that still had ambition to do anything other than crawl up into a ball.

I tried to listen out for her heart beat, for anything that told me she was still alive but there was nothing.

Something in me had been stolen from me, it felt like someone had slowly peeled back the layers of my skin and stolen my soul.

I lifted her lifeless body and hugged it close while crying into her shoulder.

This must have been what our banshee meant when she said something big was coming.
