Liam

We all ran out into the field, the people in the crowd already cheering, it was a small sense of happiness considering this would be our first game in three months, there hadn't been enough players on the team to enter us into any actual games.

Charlotte hadn't spoken to me since we had bumped into her after lunch which was understandable, I shouldn't have exposed her like that to the group when she clearly wasn't ready for them all to know.

When we got onto the field I looked around into the stands, I immediately spotted Theo, Lydia and Malia sat togethor but I also noticed Cora and Amy sat a little further away, Charlotte had said she'd call them so I figured they were there for support if things end up going south.

But I noticed something which made my insides turn.

My father was sat in one of the other stands, he was sat next to a woman who I didn't recognise and I could see that they were talking but I couldn't hear what they were talking about over the crowd.

I looked over at Charlotte and her eyes were burned on him, she seemed much angrier than she was before and I thought that it was because he came to her first game, he showed his face at an event she was having.

I looked back over at Cora and Amy and they met eyes with me, I could see that they were scared and I seemed to be completely out of the loop.

I knew about the letter Charlotte had gotten but that wasn't enough to get them all this riled up.

I walked over to Stiles. Luckily the other team were taking a little long to get ready so we had a couple of minutes.

"Do you know what's wrong with Charlotte?" I asked.

"No, I just figured that it was cause of the note but I don't think so anymore." He said looking over at her.

"Can you talk to her? I don't think she'll want to speak to me right now."

"Yeah, I will do."

He looked at me once before walking over to her.

She was stood a little further away gripping her lacrosse stick in her hands as she glared at our father. He hadn't seen us or at least he was pretending not to notice us.

Stiles walked up behind her, placing both of his hands on her shoulders, she shuddered into his touch and ripped her eyes away from our father to turn around and look at Stiles.

Charlotte

I glared at him, trying to figure out what he wanted, what they wanted. My eyes shifted over to the woman, Monroe, Duron's daughter. They looked exactly alike, more alike than they should've. They had the same evil eyes, the same face, everything just made me want to throw up.

I suddenly felt a grip on my shoulder and I was so close to attacking whoever it was but I then smelt Stiles's scent and I eased into his touch.

I turned around to face him, he had a stupid smile on his face that made my stomach warm.

I tried to hide my own smile but it didn't really work as his only grew.

"You ready for this?" He asked.

"I think my nerves are just about killing me." I said truthfully.

"Will you be ok?"

"Yeah, I took one of my tablets before I came out here."

"What's got you so upset?" He asked.

I didn't know whether to tell him or not, he was my boyfriend so that kind of means I have to tell him but I wasn't sure if it was the right thing to do.

I wanted to fix this on my own, I didn't want anyone else to get hurt because of him and if it was Stiles then I don't think I would be able to live with myself.

Everyone else around me had heightened abilities, unbelievable strength but Stiles didn't have those things, I had to protect him because he couldn't protect himself.

But I wanted so desperately to tell him, the weight would be lifted from my shoulders, Simone else would know.

"I... um.. remember when I told you about my d... Sean," I quickly corrected myself and he nodded, "well.. um.. Cora told me that he's a.. hunter." I said trying to piece the words together to make sense in my mind.

"A hunter?" Stiles asked in disbelief,

"Yeah and he's.. he's here now." I said.

Stiles looked out into the audience but then met my eyes again. "Who is he?"

"He's the one wearing the blue shirt sat next to the woman with the curly dark hair." I said.

He looked out into the crowd and his eyes then landed on them, his eyebrows furrowed and he frowned slightly.

"Don't tell the others, they don't need to know." I said quietly.

"But why not? I mean, doesn't this affect them too?"

"No, they're here for me, they want to kill me." I said.

He still didn't look at me so I placed my hand on his cheek and moved his face so that he was looking at me. He leaned down and pressed his forehead to mine.

"Ok, whatever you need to do." He whispered.

He leaned in closer and met my lips with his, we shared a brief moment just stood like this until I pulled away, I looked up at him until the other team came running onto the pitch, cheering and yelling as they did so.

The crowd began to do the same and I couldn't help myself but to look over at him, he wasn't cheering or clapping, he was just stood there. I couldn't help but think that he had ulterior motives than to just piss me off.

The game started and I tried to stay out of the way at first, I kept getting distracted by his eyes glued to my back, I could practically feel him burning holes into the back of my neck.

But then Liam threw the ball to me, apparently I was the only player free, I caught it without any effort, my brain in two different places.

I was suddenly snapped into reality when two huge boys came running towards me, their teeth bared at me and spit practically flying from their mouth.

I gripped the stick firmly in my hands and dipped out of the way, barely missing them. I ran as fast as I could across the field until I was maybe two and a half meters away from the goal.

I tightened my fingers and buried my feet into the ground, I stared at the goalie before shooting the ball as hard as I could, the ball went straight into the net and the crowd went wild, I looked over to the board and apparently time ran out and I had scored the last goal.

We had won 19:13.

Everyone came running over to me, hugging me and cheering but I couldn't help my eyes from scanning the crowds.

Lots of people had left - families from the opposing team. There were less people sat down but Sean and Monroe still remained seated in the same place. It's sent a shiver down my spine.

I pushed through my teammates and made my way to the changing rooms. I walked over to the mirror and just stared at my messy reflection.

My hair was tightly wound into a plait, my skin was sweaty and dirty and my clothes were covered in mud.

I threw my helmet on the floor and gripped my hands onto the sides of the sink, heaving in and out. Everything was too much for me.

I took my fist and slammed it into the mirror, shards of glass fell to the floor, crowding around my feet.

I saw something move in one of the shards of glass, a figure appeared at the door way.

"Roedd honno'n gêm eithaf da i chi ei chwarae." He said, his voice lacking any emotions whatsoever. That was a pretty good game you played.

I scoffed.
