Charlotte
In all fairness, I didn't actually know what I was going to do.
As soon as I closed the door after myself, my emotions hit me full on and I walked mindlessly for a few hours.
Walking through town, along the lake, passed the school and then back through town before I made it to the park me and Liam used to go to when we were younger.
Nothing had changed, the swings were still red, the roundabout was rusted and old, the slide was covered in leaves - just like every winter and the bench had a plank missing from its seat.
I sat down on the bench and put my backpack down next to me, I ran my hands through my hair and sighed.
It was almost eight o'clock and pitch black. It was cold, freezing almost but I didn't feel the cold as I was thinking about other stuff.
After about an hour I stood up and grabbed my bag I started walking away, I mindlessly walked.
I didn't have anywhere I was planning on going until I ended up at his house.
My bag fell from my shoulder onto the floor and I knock on the door, I turned away and all of my emotions hit me at once.
Tears fell down my cheeks and my legs felt weak.
I sobbed loudly and then cupped my hand over my mouth.
The door opened, letting light spill out onto the porch, I turned around to see him stood there in a pair of joggers, his hair was messy and he was very obviously concerned as soon as he saw me stood outside.
"I..." I started but I couldn't even say anything else.
He pulled me into his arms and hugged me tightly as I cried into his shoulder.
I finally let everything out, finally letting someone see and letting them know that I need help.
All I could do was cry, sobs quickly followed and if it was anyone else, I would be completely embarrassed.
But with stiles I felt safe.
He pulled away slowly and lifted his hand to stroke the hair out of my face.
"Hey..." he whispered. "What happened?" He kissed my forehead and let his breath linger there.
"My.. my dad is back.." I said quietly.
"Oh, Charlotte... you need to come inside?" He pointed behind him and into the house.
I nodded slightly and he leant down to pick up my bag before tossing it over his shoulder and grabbing my hand.
He pulled me inside and closed the door.
"You wanna go upstairs? Make yourself comfortable?" He asked and I nodded again. I held my hand out to grab my bag from him but he shook his head. "I'll bring it up in a second."
I made my way up his stairs, I could remember where his room was from the last time I was here but I still felt a little awkward walking in his house - especially considering what had happened the last time I was over.
I opened his door and walked over to his desk, sitting down on the chair and folding my arms over my chest.
I took in his room.
There was a few clothes on the floor and the edge of the bed but other than that it was clean.
It hadn't changed except the bedding and some of his books.
I listened out for Stiles.
He was in the living room, the tv was on and some sort of comedy show was playing. The fire crackled quietly.
