"Oh so you heard this from their daughter!" Shouted my dad, and then added, "Did she tell you where she found that out?"
"Yes, yes she did, she said that her dad told her this the day we both got out of the hospital." I replied.
"Ah I see." Replied my dad.
"So.... is it true?" I replied.
**Sigh** "Yes it's true, but things have gotten complicated, which is why I made a big fuss." Replied my dad.
"Oh." Mihail, Thomas and I all replied. After that my dad, Thomas, Mihail, and I sat there silent for what seemed like hours. Until my dad said, "Well now you know that I was friends with Luna's father, also please don't ask anymore about what happened in my past. Now if you don't mind I would like to be left alone for a while." And with that he left the kitchen. Once he was gone, Mihail replied, "Well that was something."
"Yeah it was. Although the method you used Vlad to get him to talk was dumb." Replied Thomas.
"Hey it was on my mind, I didn't expect him to yell at me." I replied.
"Oh come Vlad, when is it, that dad doesn't yell about something? The only time he doesn't yell is if we don't bother him or if mom's around. So since mom is not here, we get to hear him yell all the time." Replied Mihail.
"He's right about that." Thomas replied.
"Yeah I know, it's just that I thought he wouldn't make a fuss about that. Bad thing is, I know he's still keeping something a secret." I replied.
"Seriously I agree with you on the secret thing, but you heard him, we are not to bother him about his past." Replied Mihail.
"That's true, but maybe when Alex gets home from work, we could see if he knows anything." Thomas proposed.
"That's a great idea!" I replied. So then we waited for a good hour and a half for Alex to finally come home from work. The moment my brother Alex walked into the house; Mihail, Thomas, and I were in the living room. "Hey Lexy, how was work today?" Mihail asked. The moment Mihail said this, Alex got an annoyed look on his face and said, "Don't-call-me-Lexy! Mihail!"
"Sorry Lexy, just wondering how your day went." Mihail teased as Alex rolled his eyes at him. "It was an ok day I guess, nothing interesting happened." Alex replied.
"That's nice to hear, so we have a question for you to answer." Thomas replied.
"And that would be?" Alex asked as one of his eyebrows went up.
"Is dad keeping some secret from us?" I replied.
"Uh well uh, uh well dad told me at the age of 7 something." Alex replied in a uneasy tone.
"So...?" I replied.
"Well the thing is, dad told me to keep it a secret, so I can't tell you what it is." Alex replied.
"Even if it's family?" Thomas replied.
"Yes. Although mom knows about the secret too." Replied Alex.
"Oh then why can't we know?" Mihail asked.
"Yeah!" Thomas and I replied.
"That's because dad told me recently when I asked the same question to not tell you. He said the less people know the better. Plus it's very, very complicated." Replied Alex.
"Uh Ok." Mihail, Thomas, and I replied. Then after that, the four of us went off and decided to do our own thing.
