Chapter 32

"So let me get this straight, the note from Chelsea was a trap from Vlad?" Chrissie replied, on the phone. 

        "Yeah, he forced her to write it and then had Kalie plant it in the girls locker room during gym class." I replied back.

"Grr, I hate that creep." replied Chrissie.

        "Yeah I used to, too although I'm a bit confused as to if I should hate him or like him now." I replied to her.

"What! Luna! He's tried to kill you more than once!" Chrissie replied.

        "Yeah I know, but ever since the day before yesterday he's suddenly different like, I don't know, let me explain what happened." I replied a bit frustrated.

"Sure go ahead although I am curious about what ever happened yesterday, is it the reason why you and Vlad were not at school today?" Chrissie asked me.

        "Yes it does have to do with why I didn't go to school." I replied.

 "Oh ok."

        "Yeah so after I found out that I fell into Vlad's trap, we talked a bit and then Vlad attacked me. Only this time I held my own against him. We fought with each other for what seemed like forever, then I got tired and so did Vlad. So we sat there and stared at each other for a long time, and I had noticed something, I hurt Vlad more than he hurt me. Not only that but while we were fighting, Vlad didn't do much attacking wise, it was like he was letting me hurt him." After I said that, there was a long pause on the other end of the phone, then Chrissie said, "So what you're saying is that you did more harm to Vlad then he did to you?"

        "Yes, but that's not all that happened, a few minutes after we had fought, Kyle came because he noticed that Chelsea was missing and came to look for her." I replied.

"Oh so that's why Kyle and Nathan got off the bus." Chrissie replied.

        "Uh yeah, wait... what do you mean?" I asked.

"Well, Kyle and Nathan came to me and asked were you and Chelsea were so I told them that you were meeting each other at the basketball court. And then they got this look on their faces like something was up and asked the bus driver if they could get off the bus." Chrissie replied.

        "Oh I see so if you hadn't told them, then they wouldn't have gone to look for me and Chelsea. Although I don't remember seeing Nathan at all when Kyle came to where Chelsea and I were." I replied.

"Maybe Vlad had someone making sure that he wasn't bothered and Nathan distracted them for Kyle so that he could get to you and Chelsea." Chrissie replied.

        "You know, that could be a reason." I replied as I checked outside my window to see how my dad was doing, and saw that he was still yelling at Vlad's dad.

"Yeah so what happened after Kyle got there?" Chrissie then asked me.

        "Well when Kyle had gotten to us, like I had said, me and Vlad had finished fighting; we were actually doing nothing and Kyle I guess saw how hurt I looked and well, started to yell at Vlad. Vlad didn't really want to tell him anything mainly because he was having trouble breathing. Anyways Kyle yelled at Vlad and Vlad was like ask Luna about it. Then After that, Vlad looked at me and apologized to me for all that he did to me and he then passed out right after he did that." Once I told Chrissie this, the phone went very silent for a moment and then Chrissie said, "Wait so Vlad apologized to you for being so horrible?" 

"Yeah." I replied.

        "Seriously? I feel like there's more to this than I know." She then replied.
