Chapter 37

"You ready?" My dad asked me as we sat down at the kitchen table to look over Nathan's dating application. "Heck yeah." I replied.

        "Good to know that you’re excited to look over this." My dad replied. Then after that, we started to look at the application together. Starting off with Nathan's last name. To be honest, I never knew what his last name was until now. So when I saw that his last name was Fuchs, I immediately looked up at my dad and said, "Nathan's German?"

"Yeah how did you figure that out?" My dad replied.

        "Well his last name looks German, so that's why I asked." I replied.

"Ah I see." Replied my dad, then we went back to looking at the application. Then when I saw that Nathan's middle initial started with L, it made me wonder what it could be. So I concluded to ask him tomorrow when I see him. I skipped over how old he was because I already knew that he was 14 years old. So I moved onto the next thing which was where he lived. The address was 14215 Mockingbird Ln, the city Woodbridge, county Prince William. Which I totally expected to see because he obviously lives in the same county and city as me. So next on the application, was his family's information. This to me didn't seem interesting, so I skipped that and moved onto the next part of the application, which was the questions. As I looked at the first 3 questions, I noticed that Nathan answered no to them, which I understand because how would he be able to drive a van in the first place, not only that it was kind of interesting to know that he didn't own a water bed or have any tattoos. Although the thing tha made me laugh the most was what he put as the answer to question number 4, 'In 50 words or less, describe what "LATE" means to you.' Nathan's reply was, Late means that I will get into trouble with Luna's father. After I read that, I laughed and then said to my dad, "Looks like Nathan understands what late means." 

        "Yeah, but he could also be trying to stay on my good side." Replied my dad. 

"You have a good point there." I replied. Then I went back looking at the application. Question number 5, 'In 50 words or less describe what "DON'T TOUCH MY DAUGHTER" means to you. When I looked at this question, I noticed that my dad might be right about Nathan trying to stay on my dad's good side, because the answer to the question was, Don't touch my daughter means, that I have no right to hold hands or do any physical related things with Luna. So after I saw this, I said to my dad, "I think you're right about Nathan trying to be on your good side, question 5 is proof of that."

"Yeah I know, I've already read though the whole application, you read slow." My dad said to me. 

        "Oh." I replied back, and then went back to reading the application. Question number 6 made me laugh because it asked where would you least like to be shot?" and Nathan's replied was Is this a trick question? I guess the head. Then the next question, it wasn't as funny though, question 7, Which is the last bone you want broken? The neck.

        Question 8. What do you want to be "IF" you grow up? A FBI agent.

Question 9, What question do you hope this form won't ask? Why did I sneak into Luna's room? After I saw this answer to this question, I made a mental note to myself to slap Nathan in the face tomorrow when I saw him at school. Then after that, I continued to look at the application. Question 10, What's my daughter's FULL name? Mira-Luna Lucas.

Question 11, Who, besides the darkness faction should you fear the most? You. Then there was the Special Notice, which I skipped over, because I already knew what it said. So I went to where Nathan signed his name.

        Signature: Nathan L Fuchs        Date: 03/12/14. After I was done with reading the application, I peered up at my dad and said, "So... What do you think?" Once I said this my dad kind of gave me a shocked look and said, "You want my opinion?"

"Yeah, I mean you're the one who created the application, so I think it would be fair to know what you have to say." I replied.

"Ok then, honestly I think that the both of you are too young to date and that you should wait until you are a little older to go out. But application wise I think he's ok to date, he seems harmless despite the fact what he put for question 9." Replied my dad.

        "Oh ok, well maybe I'll wait two to four weeks before going out with him like the application says." I replied. When I said this, my dad grinned at me and said, "Sounds good." Then after that he got up from the table and left the kitchen/ dining room. Once he left I decided to also leave the kitchen and go back to my room to finish my homework.

A/n: OK so first of all the place where Luna and everyone in the book lives, is where I live except the street name where Nathan lives, I made that up. Although funny enough there is a street by that name in a city near by where I live. The second thing is to the side the dating application is up again only this time filled out. Thought it would look cool if I had an example of what it looked like filled out.
