Once I got into the living room, I found out that I wasn't the only one that wanted to know if my dad was Ok, because all of my siblings were sitting on the couch apparently waiting for my dad to come back into the house. "Hey what's going on? I noticed that dad stopped yelling." I asked all my brothers.
"Yeah we know, but dad hasn't come in yet. We don't know what's going on, also mom went outside to see what is going on. She said to wait here until either she came back in, or she came back in with dad." My brother Ryan replied.
"Oh OK, I guess we just wait and see what happens." I replied.
"Yep." replied all of my brothers. So we sat there for a while until my mom came into the house with my father, who was fuming mad and also mumbling to himself. "Hi mom how did it go?" Asked my brother Justin.
"Well when I went to check on your father, I found him and our neighbor having a fist fight instead of shouting to each other. So I decided that things went a little too far. So I went to go break things up, so as I went to go do this, your father got punched really hard in the face." Replied my mom as my dad mumbled some more to himself.
"You got punched in the face dad?" My brother Nick replied.
"Yes." Growled my father.
"Where? I don't see a mark." Replied Nick's twin, Sean.
"Right here." My mom said as she turned my dad's face to show us his left side. (We were only looking at the right side of his face until now.) When my mom showed us the left side of my dad's face, my siblings and I cringed, because it looked terrible. Where my dad's eye was looked miserable because it was this horrible shade of black and blue on his face for a bruise. "Wow, he really gave you a black eye there dad." Michael replied.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever." Replied my dad.
"Were you able to do anything to him?" Replied Rhett.
"No, but your mother sure scared him off." Replied my dad.
"Really?" I replied.
"Yeah, once he punched me in the face, your mother was livid, she went all hollering and screaming on him. She even chased him around their yard a bit before he went and ran cowardly into their house." Replied my dad.
"Well he better have, since he hurt my little girl and husband." My mom replied in an uppity tone.
"So what did his kids do while you two fought?" My brother Justin asked.
"Well they watched from the window." Replied my dad, but then added," All of them were there except the one kid that hurt Luna."
"Huh, that's interesting." Replied Nick.
"Yeah it defiantly was." Replied my dad.
"Well maybe he was tired and needed rest." I replied, once I said this, everyone in my family turned and looked at me and stared. "You think so?" Replied my dad in a concerned tone.
"Yeah; I mean he lost a lot of blood and had to go through a blood transfusion. Trust me I know that he's resting, since I had to go through one myself and when I was done, all I wanted to do was sleep." I replied back.
"Ok, I'll take your word for it," Replied my dad, then after that my family and I talked about how we were going to deal with our neighbors from across the street.
*** Monday Morning ***
"Hey Luna, whoa did Vlad break your arm?" Chelsea said to me as I sat down on the bus.
