*** Two Weeks Later***
It was Monday morning and as I got ready for school, I couldn't help but think, "Today I'll finally find out why Vlad had to be gone for practically three weeks." Then after I had thought that, I remembered that since it has been two weeks; I could either send that letter to Nathan telling him that we can date today or make him suffer a little longer and wait until it has been four weeks. A part of me wanted him to suffer a little longer while another part of me didn't. It took me a while to decide, but I had finally come to a decision; I was going to send the letter today once I got home from school. I figured that it would be the best idea, because Nathan seemed like a nice guy once you got to know him, so I figured that it would be best to let him know today that we could date. So after I had made my decision, I finished up getting ready for school and then went to go find my dad. Once I found him, I told him that I wanted to date Nathan. After I had said this, my dad looked at me shocked and then said, "Are you sure about that?"
"Yes, daddy I'm sure." I replied.
"Ok, fine I'll go and write the letter and then once I get home from work, I'll have one of the wolves go deliver it." My dad replied. After he said that, I then cheerfully said, "Thank you!" And then went and made myself some breakfast. After I finished eating breakfast, I cheerfully walked out of the front door of the house and made my way to the bus stop. As I was walking to the bus stop, I looked around to see if Vlad had come outside, only to find no sign of him anywhere. So I started to watch the front door of his house to see if he would come out any time soon; nothing. For some reason it made me upset and confused. I thought to myself, "James did tell me that he was coming back in two weeks, it's been two weeks, where is he?" It was starting to bother me that maybe something happened and that Vlad wasn't going to come until next week. Now this really bothered me because, one Vlad wanted to tell me something. Two, I wanted to know why he had to be gone for so long. As I thought this over, I started to look at his house, which caught my attention for some reason. For the first time in years, I never really looked over what Vlad's house looked like until now. It was really big and looked like it had two stories. It was a dark blue color and had black shutters, and the front door was also black. In a strange way the house looked a little grim, but that probably was for the fact that the curtains on the inside were black, so you couldn't really look into the house.
After realizing this, it dawned on me that long ago before Vlad lived here in this house, when I was in second grade, the house looked warm and welcoming. It was still a dark blue color, but the shutters were white not black, also the curtains were a different color. So now that Vlad had moved into the house in when I was in third grade, some things ended up changing. Which is why the house looks the way it does now. After I was done thinking about this, I decided to hurry to the bus stop, because I didn't know what time it was and also I didn't want to be late for the bus and get yelled at for being late. Once I got to the bus stop, I found out that I had made it on time, because right after I got to the bus stop, the bus started to come driving up to the stop. So then I got on and found a seat close by Chelsea. Once I sat down Chelsea and I started to talk about how our weekends went, until Chrissie got onto the bus. "Hey Luna, Chelsea What's up?" Chrissie said as she sat down next to me. "Nothing much." both Chelsea and I said.
"That's cool, hey Luna?" Chrissie replied.
"Yes?" I replied back.
"Where's Vlad? I don't see him on the bus." Chrissie stated.
"I don't know." I answered.
"What's up you two?" Chelsea then asked.
"Oh well for almost the past three weeks, Vlad hasn't been at school, and Chrissie and I found out that Vlad was going to be back this week." I replied to her.
"Oh I see, but why do you want to know if he's back?" Chelsea replied.
"Because we want to ask him a couple of questions." Chrissie replied.
"Oh I see like what?" Chelsea replied.
"Like why did you act the way you did at the hospital?" I said.
"Or why did you disappear for so long from school." Replied Chrissie.
"Or why did you kidnap Chelsea?" I replied.
"Or why the heck did you kiss Luna on the check?" Chrissie replied, after she said that, Chelsea's eyes got really wide. "When did he do that?" She replied.
"While I was at the hospital." I replied.
"Really?" Chelsea replied.
"Yeah I thought that I had told Chrissie not to mention that, plus that goes along with the why did you do what you did at the hospital question." I replied as I gave Chrissie a menacing look, who then apologized to me. Once that happened, the bus stopped and we were at the school. So Chelsea, Chrissie, and I got off the bus. Once we were off, Chrissie and I said goodbye to Chelsea and then decided to go find James.
