Chapter 38

The next morning on the bus, I told Chrissie and Chelsea about what happened yesterday after school. The moment I mentioned that Nathan was my secret admirer, both Chrissie and Chelsea got this shocked look on their faces, and then Chelsea said, "Hang on, I thought my brother like you, I mean he was the one who sneaked into your house and caused the major security stuff to happen at you're house."  Right as she said this, I looked at her and said, "Hold up, you knew about this the whole time that your brother was doing this?" 

        "Well... yeah I but he made me promise not to tell you or else he'd make my life miserable."

"Ah I see, well your brother was at first the one who was doing this, but then Nathan was the one who continued it." I replied.

        "Oh that makes sense." Replied Chelsea and then added, "Now I know why my brother and Nathan aren't sitting next to each other right now."

"Whoa, really? Well I guess that means Kyle still likes me and is mad that Nathan asked me out first." I replied.

        "Looks like it." Replied Chrissie, then after she said that, the bus stopped because we were at school. So we got off the bus and Chrissie, Chelsea, and I were about to say our goodbyes and then go to our lockers; when Nathan came up to me and said hi. After he said this, I turned around and smacked him in the face. After I did this, Nathan had this shocked look on his face and so did Chelsea and Chrissie.
"That's what you get for putting what you put for question 9 on the dating application that my dad had you fill out!" I shouted at him.

    "Oh... uh... sorry? I couldn't think of what to put on there." Nathan said as he rubbed his redden face.

"Oh, well sorry that I did that then." I replied, while I did this Chrissie and Chelsea stood there stunned and confused about what was going on. So I turned to them and said, "I'll explain later." And then turned my attention back on Nathan. "So what do you want?" I asked him.

   "Oh uh... so are we going out?" Nathan asked.

"Nathan, you read the bottom of the application right?" I replied.

    "Yeah.." Nathan replied.

"Well then you know that you have to wait two weeks to find out the answer." I replied.

    "Seriously? I thought that your dad was using the application to scare me!" Nathan replied.

"Well he probably was, but he was also being serious about the application." I replied.

    "Oh I see." Nathan said and then walked off in the direction of the school. Then after that Chrissie and Chelsea looked at me like what the heck just went on here. So I explained to them all about the dating application and also what Nathan put on the application, so that they would be able to understand what I was talking about with Nathan and the reason why I also slapped him in the first place. After I was done explained everything to the both of them, both Chrissie and Chelsea said at the same time. "Well that makes sense. Although I don't get why your dad made him fill an application out to date you."

"Well I think it's because I'm his only daughter and well he told me that I'm too young to be dating right now. So I guess he designed the application in a way to scare away guys that want to date me." I commented.

   "Ah that makes even more sense." Replied Chrissie.

"Yeah I guess." Replied Chelsea. Then after that we all said goodbye to each other and then we went off to our lockers. On the way to my locker, I saw Kyle and Nathan yelling at each other, and decided to walk over to where they were to find out why they were yelling at each other. As I got closer to them; I soon was able to find out why they were yelling at each other. "You know Nathan, I can't believe you did this to me." Kyle yelled at Nathan.

"Hey! I can't help that she's pretty." Nathan yelled back.

     "Ok, first of all at the beginning of the school year, you didn't even like her. You thought that she was a dumb human!" Kyle yelled again.

"Well people's opinions can change." Nathan stated to Kyle.

   "I don't care, I saw her first. Plus I was the one who left the first love note not you!" Kyle yelled a bit louder."

"Oh I'm sorry to hear that, but I just had the courage to speak up and tell her that I liked her!" Nathan yelled back.
     "Well-"

"Boys! Get a grip, and stop fighting." I yelled at both of them as I interrupted their quarrel, and made them jump.

  "Oh uh hi Luna." Kyle and Nathan replied, with a sound of embarrassment in their voices.

"Yeah hi. You two need to get a life and stop fighting over me, ok?" I told them off. 

   "Yes ma'am." They both replied and then ran off towards their first period class. After that I ran off to my locker so that I could grab my things and go to first period. Once I had gotten all my stuff for class; I walked into class only to be stopped by James. "Hey Luna."

"Yes? What do you want James?" I replied.

   "I have found out from Vlad that he will be back in two weeks from now." James replied back.

"Uh ok... why are you telling me this?" I replied.

    "Because he wanted you to know that for some reason." James said in a confused tone.

"Oh uh ok." I replied back and then sat down at my desk.
