So as my dad and I waited awhile in the doctor's office; I couldn't help but to think, "Is there more to Vlad then what I know?" While I sat there and contemplated on that thought, my dad was on the phone with my mom. He had called her to let her know at it was going to take longer, and that it seems the wound was a lot worse than he thought it was. Then he began to tell her about what Rachael had said. Then after that he sat there and listened to what my mom had to say, and then said good bye to her and then got off the phone with her. After he did that, he looked up at me and said, "Your mother wants to let you know that she hopes your wound gets better and to also let you know that she thinks the wound really isn't as bad as we think it is."
"Oh, OK, thanks." I said and then right after I had said that, Rachael came in with another Doctor, but this doctor happened to be male. He was a very tall guy, about "6'3" at the most, and was also pretty skinny. He had a nice tan skin color, and his face was pretty slender looking also. Then there were his eyes, which were a nice dark green color and his hair was jet black and also short, but not too short, and he was wear a white doctor's coat with a blue shirt underneath along with some blue jeans.
As I studied him, I couldn't help to think that he sort of reminded me of someone, but I don't know who. Then to break me from my thoughts, Rachael said to me, "Luna, Kiku here will help fix your wound. He's more of an expert on advanced magic and healing, because he comes from a long line of assassins and warriors."
"Oh okay, thanks for letting me know." I replied to her as she smiled at me and then left the room. After that I went back to studying Kiku, mainly because I wanted to figure out why he seemed in a way so familiar to me. "Wow, you do look beautiful as my little sis had told me." Kiku said snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Really? Wait... who's your little sister?" I replied looking puzzled at him. Kiku just smiled at me and said, "Shina, I believe she taught you how to defend yourself, and many other things. Before she pasted on."
"You're related to Shina? How? She's from the lunar-stellar clan and you seem to be from the water clan." I responded. Hearing this, Kiku laughed at me and then said,
"Yes you're right, she was a part of the lunar-stellar clan, and I'm a part of the water clan, but one of our parents was a part of the water clan and the other the lunar-stellar clan. Thus when having kids, some ended up in one clan and others in the other clan."
"Oh I see, that makes sense."
"Yes it does, by the way how's Isamu? I know my sister loved him like a child, although he never like me."
"Oh, ah he's doing fine. Why didn't he like you?"
"Because I wasn't his owner, and I'm not a part of the lunar-stellar clan."
"Oh, but not being part the lunar-stellar clan couldn't have to do with him liking you, because he likes my one freind and she's part of the air clan."
"Oh... that's um... interesting."
"How so?"
"Well are you ever in the room when your friend is with him?"
"Yeah, what does that have to do with anything?"
"Luna, sweetie, what he's trying to get at, is that yes Isamu might be nice to your friend, when you are around, but if you were to not be in the room, then he would act totally different around her." responded my father.
"Really? But I still don't get it why would he act different if I wasn't there?"
"Because your from the lunar-stellar clan, and one of the animals you can transform into is a wolf, thus wolves will protect you and do whatever you want, because they can sense that you're friendly to them." responded Kiku.
"So sweetie, does that make more sense now that we have explained it to you?" my father responded.
"Yes."
"Good, now let me see how bad this wound of yours is." Kiku said as he started to take the bandages off my shoulder. As he did this, I started to fear that my shoulder might start to hurt again, but to my relief nothing happened. Once the bandages were off, I started to feel a very cool feeling on my shoulder and also something kind of poking me, in the places that felt very cool. "Where I'm poking, does it hurt?" Kiku asked me. "No, what ever you did to my shoulder, feels nice because I'm not in pain."
"Hmm... I see, so when I used my powers to kind of numb the wound; it made the pain stop in your shoulder."
"Yes pretty much."
"Ok, well that's interesting. So by what I have figured out so far about the injury is that, it's cursed."
"WHAT!?!" Yelled my dad, "What do you mean it's cursed?"
"Well the person who did this to your daughter, ripped her shoulder open and then put a curse on it so that it would take longer for it to heal. Not only that, but if your daughter moves or tries to do anything with it, it will cause the wound to hurt more and also do more damage to the rest of her body. Which would be the reason why she is in so much pain." responded Kiku. After hearing this, my dad kind of got this very angry look on his face. Not only that but, he also growled a bit. Then he said to Kiku, "I really can't believe this, how in the world could this have happened? The person who attacked her is a shape shifter, but then again they are a part of the darkness faction."
"Really is that so?" Kiku responded and then said, "Are you sure they could actually be of a different race."
"I'm pretty sure, I know his father." my dad replied.
"Really? Who is it?" Kiku responded.
"Dmitri Lupescu." My dad said very irritatedly.
"Really, him? Wait... uh do you know him well?" Kiku kind of responded sheepishly.
"Well of course I do, he lives right across the street from me!" My dad practically yelled.
"Are you sure?" Kiku questioned.
"What are you trying to get at?" My dad said as he eyed Kiku.
"Well do you know his wife?" Kiku responded.
"Uh... no I've never really seen her actually." my dad admitted.
"Then you fully don't know Dmitri. Which means you don't know that his wife is a vampire. Now I only know this because Shina made me acompany her on her missions to spy on the darkness faction." Kiku replied.
"Wait... so your telling me that Dmitri's wife is a vampire."
"Yes."
"Which means that, that could be a reason why the kid that hurt my daughter was able to put a curse on her?"
"Mostly likely."
"Are you sure about that?"
"Yes Dmitri and his wife do have kids that are vampires, but the one who hurt your daugther could possibly be half vampire, half shape shifter. Which would be the reason why you are so confused as to how the kid was able to hurt your daughter." Kiku simply putting it as a very matter of fact way.
"I guess that could be a reason." My dad said a bit thoughtfully. Then after that the room went silent. Which lead to me to think about what had been said concerning Vlad. Which also lead me to think about the possibilty of Vlad being part vampire, but I didn't linger too much on the thought. Mainly because Kiku then said to both me and my dad, "Well since the wound is cursed there will have to be a long procedure involved in removing the curse in order for the wound to heal. Meaning that Luna, you might have to stay here in the hospital for a couple of days. Also just in case I'll also have to check to see if the curse spread to other parts of your body; which probably happened since you have probably moved around a bit if I'm correct."
"Ok, I'm fine with that." I replied and then looked at my dad.
"It's ok sweetie, don't worry every thing will be ok. Plus your mom and I willcome visit you to see how youare doing."
"Ok daddy." And then with that my dad waved goodbye and left the doctor's office. Leaving me with only Kiku in the room.
A.n/ Hey just a side note here's a picture of who Kiku looks like.
