Chapter 14

"Ha! Yet again Luna, whatever and I will let Vlad know, but I just have to say I don't even know why Vlad did that, lately he hasn't been telling me certain things. So like I said, I don't know why he said what he said." James told me and then kept walking down the sidewalk. I was about to say something back at him, but then I decided not to. Mainly, because James and Vlad's other friends were too far away for me to say anything. So instead I started to limp toward my house, but was stopped by Kyle. "Don't move, there's someone watching us!"

"What do you mean there is someone watching us?" Chelsea asked.

"It's ok, I know exactly what you're talking about. I'm use to it." I replied.

"Wait, what?" Both Chelsea and Kyle said at the same time.

"Yeah, you're talking about Vlad right?" I said.

"Ah no, not really." Kyle said in a frightened voice.

"Oh, well then I'm guessing it's one of Vlad's older brothers or his dad then." I replied causally like it was nothing. "Ah- uh- ah, maybe, I can't tell their hid-"

"Hidden in the shadows of the curtains, yeah typical thing that Vlad and his family would do." I interrupted and then added, "Its nothing really, they do it all the time to intimidate me and my family. It doesn't work though, mainly because my family and I have gotten used to them spying on us." When I was finished both Kyle and Chelsea looked amazed and surprised at what I had said. "But how do you know it's Vlad's family?" Kyle said very puzzled. "Uh well for one thing Kyle, I did mention earlier today that Vlad lives right across the street from me, literally. Also the other thing is that who ever is watching us right now, is obviously someone from Vlad's family."

"But how do you know for sure?"

"Because they spy on my family everyday!. If you don't believe me then I will prove it to you."

"Ah ok?"

"Alright, so which house is this person watching us from?"

"That one the white house with a blue door, that directly across the street from your house." Kyle said as he pointed at the house. "Ah yeah Kyle.... that's where Vlad lives."

"Oh... still, I can't believe that you're not bothered by the fact that Vlad's family watches you."

"It really doesn't bother me. Although I will say just my family and I like to wave at them right before we walk into our house, just to annoy them. Plus it's fun to see how they react. Here I'll show you." So I turned toward Vlad's house and with my good shoulder, waved at whoever it was that was watching us. Right when I did that, I saw the curtains move and also since they were open, close shut. "Yep, and there's your typical reaction."

"Ok, so you've made your point woop-de-do, I still think its a bad thing, because would've your family has something happen to them because Vlad's family has been spying on you? What would you do then?"

"Uh, Kyle seriously? That's the most craziest thing I've heard, and plus it won't happen because, my house is majorly armed with security at the moment. "

"Its not dumb, I swear, I'm being serious with you! Wait... did you just say that your house is majorly armed with security? "

"Yep, that's what I said."

"How come, what happened? "

"What do you mean how come? You've never been to my house before, this is your first time coming to my house."

"Uh, well... uh, I've heard from my parents that your parents never really cared for security." (Chelsea's snickering in the background.)

"Uh... ok... well a couple days ago a boy snuck into my bedroom and left a love letter on my bed, and so that is why we have major security in my house."
