"What do you think?" Lisa asked examining her dress. It was a cute dress of pink colour and suited her well.
"Nice." We all nodded.
"What about mine?" Rose asked. She was wearing a yellow dress and she looked beautiful.
"It is beautiful," I said.
Jisoo and Jennie had already bought their dresses and were now helping Lisa and Rose pick theirs.
"Y/N, arent you buying a dress?" Jisoo asked me.
"No," I answered.
"Why?" Jennie asked as if the idea horrified.
"Don't worry. I have a dress I have been dying to wear." I smiled.
"The black one which we all bought together," Rose asked. I nodded.
"Y/N, it's not fair. We are all buying new dresses you should too." Lisa suggested.
"It's okay. I haven't worn that dress once." I informed. It was true and it was also true that I dint want to force Suga into buying me a dress. I didn't want to be a burden on him.
My friends said that they will buy me a dress but I refused. I didn't like bothering other people for me, especially for my troubles. After arguing for hours I convinced them not to buy a dress for me. They agreed but were mad at me. When they all had bought their dresses. We met the boys to go home.
When the boys found out about me not buying a dress they all tried to buy one for me but I refused, except for Suga who was still avoiding me.
Hoseok was the most determined to buy me a dress but I pursued him too and we all went home.
I was in my room and was about to dress up for the party when a knock came at my door. I opened it and saw the person I wasn't expecting.
"Suga, come in." I closed the door behind him. I turned to him. "Is everything alright? Do you need anything?"
"Everything is fine." Suga looked here and there. "I-um-ah-I just want to make sure that we are fine, right? I shouldn't have said those things to you."
"We are fine. It's okay, you didn't mean to be so blunt." I smiled slightly.
"Are you sure?" He looked at me, my quietness bothering him.
"I am pretty sure, Suga. I am the same old Y/N." I winked.
He smiled. "I bought you something for you, as an apology. Please accept it." He brought his hands from his back. He was holding a box. It wasn't wrapped but a ribbon stuck to the surface. I couldn't guess from the box what was inside.
"Thank you." My face lit up when I took the box.
"Open it before the party and tell me if you liked it." He smiled and went out.
I was curious. What was inside the box that Suga wanted me to open before the party? I shrugged and without wasting any more time I opened the box. On seeing the item inside it, I was awestruck. Sitting inside was the formal dress I had liked when I went to the mall with him for the first time. I grinned and hugged the dress. He knew exactly what I wanted.
