Chapter 26 - Rude

I stopped writing this just after I said unexpected and I have no idea where this chapter is going. oh my god.

Also if any of you don't like self harm or can't handle the mention of it, please skip the first bit of the chapter. 😘 I don't want y'all to feel uncomfortable.

So going into the bathroom and causing damage to my skin wasn't the best thing for me to be doing right now, but I am so angry at everything! I can't believe my mum!

The next morning I have a shower and then walk to Jai's place, I don't care what people think... I'm going to hang out with him if I want.

Just the next day I hear an unexpected knock at the door, I open it to find Jai standing in my door way.

"Are you okay?" He asks.

"Yeah. Why?" I ask and he steps in the house.

"I don't know." He says and we lay down on the grass outside under a big oak tree. He looks over at me then his eyes drop down to my arm, he shows worry in his features at I cover it.

"You've got to stop doing that." He says and a tear drips down my face.

"I'm sorry." I say and we sit up against the tree. He hugs me and I cry into his shoulder.

"Everything is just so unfair." I cry and he rubs my back.

"It's not because of me is it?" He says over the top of my head because he has rested his chin on the top of my head.

"No, no, of course not." I say, pulling away from him. He looks into my glossy eyes and grins a little.

"Smile." He says. I shake my head.

"Come on." He says and starts to tickle me. I giggle, uncontrollably.

"Jai stop it!" I complain and he does. I frown at him and he stretches his arms out. After that we decide to go to the town pool, it's about 30 degrees and I can't handle it.

"Gemma." Jai says, quietly, as we walk trough the pool gates. A couple of girls stood their giggling and pointing at Jai, but when they saw me they gave me a death stare then walked away like stuck up princesses.

"Ignore them." Jai says and grabs my hand. We walk to the farthest corner of the pool and Jai jumped as I slowly slid in the water.

"I love you." He says and I smile. I still couldn't say it and I don't know when I can, but Jai knows that one day I will be able. I will be able to whisper 'I love you too' under the stars. I will.

"Oooh, it's cold." I say and we both laugh at my voice when I said that.

"Hey, are you Jai Waetford?" The girls from before ask.

"Yeah." He says in his deep voice, I never noticed how deep it wasn't until now.

"Thought so. I love your music SO much." She says, fangirling. She gives me a rude look like before then struts off.

"What a total bitch." I say and Jai says nothing. We decide to race each other up and down the pool, Jai must have been taking it easy on me because I won each time - I suck at swimming.

"I'm going to go to the bathroom." I say and I do. When I come out one of the girls from before runs into me.

"Watch out where you're... Hmm." She says as she see's me.

"What?" I ask.

"Well, just that you make Jai unhappy and he likes me more so I'm going to date him weather you like it or not. You better step outta my way or I'll hurt you. Got that? Okay, bye slut." She says and walks away. She is a total utter bitch.

The next time I see her is next to the pool, she walks up to me and pushes me in the pool. I come up to breathe and Jai comes running over. He helps me up out of the water and looks over at her. She smiles at him, plays with her hair, winks at Jai then leaves.

"Is she serious? She is so rude to me and then does that in front of me, she's got to be joking!" I say and Jai grabs my shoulders and stares at me in the eyes.

"Ignore her. She not a real fan, they don't that type of stuff normally. We should go." He says and I nod.

When I get back to my place, I have a shower as Jai has one at his place. I don't hang out with him anymore that day and I decide to write a bit. Remember last year when I wrote? Yeah, that's started again. Not good.
