I don't understand love and probably never will. It's confusing as hell once you've actually felt it.
Love is like a piece of art work; it's not perfect, unless you're incredibly good at it. There's always a loop hole.

Jai knocks on the door and I open it. He looks me up and down and must realise that I am fine because without a word we both run upstairs.
"What's wrong with her?" He whispers outside of her door.
"She won't leave her room, it's driving my mother insane and Kayla's scaring us." I whisper into his ear and he enters her room. I quietly slide in behind Jai and wait at the door. He sits next to Kayla on her bed and looks down at her.
"Kayla. Tell me what's wrong." He says. He talked to her with a gentle voice, he always did. He'd be a great father when he's older.
"It all started when Gemma and I came back from the orphanage. When you left for America and when Gemma went afterwards, it got worse."
"What did?" He asks.
"The bullying." She says and my heart drops. She doesn't deserve to be bullied.
"Who is this girl that is bullying you?" He asks.
"Hellao Gusaki."
"Sounds like a sumo wrestler." I say and no one finds it funny, but me. It's true! Her name sounds like she should be a sumo wrestler.
"We'll think of something to stop it. In the meanwhile try to avoid her." Jai says and Kayla nods. Jai and I walk down to the lounge room.
"Park?" He asks.
"Sure." I say and we walk towards the abandoned park.
"You deal with Kayla really well." I say as we walk.
"She's a good kid. She doesn't deserve it." He says and I nod.
"I know." I add as we walk through the small trees and into the park. It was slowly getting dark and I didn't realise how fast the day went by. I must've woken up at around 12 for it to be getting dark this quickly. We sit down on the swings and talk for a while. Glow flies start to appear on the trees and flying around the park.
"It's so beautiful." I say and Jai looks at me in the eyes.
"Like you." He says and I look down at my uncontrollable fidgeting hands.
Don't fall for him again Gemma.
"Don't." I say and he sighs.
"Sorry. It's not helping is it?" He asks.
"Nope." I shake my head.
"Let's walk." I say and we walk around the park until it's almost completely dark. We walked in silence, we both thought about possibilities and each other mainly. I didn't get it. Why is he doing this? Why is he messing with me? I love him, but I can't trust him.
"I'm going home." I say and walk away from him, standing in the middle of the park, oblivious about what just happened. To be honest I don't really know either. I walk home and it starts to rain. I get drenched and Jai runs up to me.
"Hi." He says.
"Hi." I say and he turns to me.
"I'm sorry." He says.
"For making things awkward. I didn't mean for any of this to happen." He says and I look down to the ground. I watch as the rain makes small puddles. He tilts my chin up so I can look at him. His eyes were an amazing dark brown in the dull light of the road lamps. I kissed him. I actually let myself kiss him in the rain and it was cheesy as hell. Dammit.
Then I left, after the kiss was over, I left. I left him standing in the middle of the road drenched without a word. I'm an idiot.
I get home and slip off my muddy shoes. I run up stairs and despite my wetness, I collapse onto my bed.
"Crap."
