Those two weeks went faster than I had expected and before I knew it I was standing at the end of an airport terminal, on the verge of tears.
"I don't want you to leave." I whisper in his ear as he hugs me.
"Me neither." He says. When no one is looking we take a few cute photos together and I set them as my wallpaper. We weren't afraid of people judging us or our parents anymore, they don't matter.
"This is the last call to board plane 397 to California, USA." The person says over the speaker. Jai hugs his mum and Kayla and says goodbye to them before returning back to me. He looks me deeply in the eyes and says "bye." He kisses me then runs off. Seriously? Who the hell does that? A tear falls down my cheek and I remove it before the tears start and can't stop.

The next day I had to return to school. Monday, dreadful Monday.
Science was first which was horrid. Then Maths.
In recess I sat alone, as always.
Then Art.
Second recess I sat alone until a girl walks up to me. I had seen her around today, she was in my art class and she sat alone, like me. Her blonde braid fell almost all the way down to her butt and her green eyes were like a rainforest.
"Hey, can I sit with you?" She asks.
"Sure." I say, we sit awkwardly for a few minutes until we found something to talk about. Her name is Amie and she used to live in Perth, but moved here last week.
"Wait, are you dating Jai Waetford?" She asks and I nod.
"That's so cool. Oh my god." She says and I laugh.
"I'm a really big fan of him. I heard you guys story, you've had such an interesting life." She says.
"Yeah. My life is pretty exciting." I say and she smiles. When the bell goes we part for English, we aren't in the same class, which sucked. After school we walk home together, she only lives around the corner, which was cool.
"How old is your sister?" She asks as we wait for Kayla.
"13."
"Oh my god, I have a brother that age, I bet she'd like him."
"Probably." I mumble. The thought of Kayla falling in love is sickening.
"Well, I'll see you tomorrow." Amie says and turns down her street.
When I get home I go stright to my room, but a few minutes later Kayla barges in.
"What does it feel like to be in love?"

I have a sinus infection, it's taken a big toll on my brain, that's why I haven't been updating frequently (i've always been bad at it, but whatever) for the last month (YES IT HAS LASTED A MONTH, I HATE MY NOSE).
