Chapter 13 - Aftermath Of Falling In Love

Gemma's POV

In the morning I wake up and Jai isn't there, but he's across the other side of the room on his Facebook page. I let him use my account for it when he first started it up. I walk over to him and lean on his shoulder and kiss his cheek.

"Good morning." He says.

"Hey." I say. My eyes were stinging because of crying so much last night. I concentrate on the computer screen, Jai was posting an update about himself. He was alright, but really happy now. Then he posted a shirtless selfie, 'that's what we've been waiting for!' So many of the Waetforders said. We laughed. They also asked if Jai and I were back together, Jai looks up into my eyes and I shrug, he shrugs in response. We weren't going to tell them, probably just post a selfie of us together and say something indicating we are back together.

Jai turns his head around to face me and kisses me before I go and have a shower. I come out and put my annoying dark brown hair up in a pony tail. Jai has a shower and gets dressed back into the clothes he was in already. He had no clothes here. Jai and I walk downstairs, hands intwined, Kayla almost screams then hugs us.

"Yay. MUM. JAI AND GEMMA ARE BACK TOGETHER." Kayla screams as she runs towards my mum in the kitchen. We didn't have time to tell Kayla that we didn't know if we were back together or not, so we follow her into the kitchen.

"Aww. Yay." My mum says with a smile.

"Sit down. You guys must be hungry." And we do. We were happy and the scrambled eggs were delicious. After that we go back to Jai's place and Jai gets changed into different clothes then we tell his mum when she wakes up. Her reaction was the same as my mums.

Then we head to the beach.

"When was last time you surfed? " I ask Jai and he shrugs.

"Probably just before America." He says.

"You should teach me." I say and he smiles.

"Really?" He asks.

"Yes." I say, he jumps up and down before picking me up and swing me around again. I laugh at his reaction.

"I thought forgiving you would get this type of reaction, not you teaching me to surf!" I say and he looks at me with a hopeful smile.

"When?" He asks.

"Today?"

"Yes! Yes! Of course! Today!" He says and I laugh again. Jai walks back to his place and gets a surfboard and he gets changed as I go back to my place and I get changed into a bikini, but I put sunscreen on and swimming shorts. I'm a bit self conscious about that.

"You ready?" He asks when I find him sitting on the beach waiting for me.

"Yes, Jai. I'm ready." I say and he smiles again. He seemed really happy about this. We walk out into the water and it was a lovely temperature.

"Okay. Stand on the board."He says. It was hard standing on there and keeping balance, but I was able to do it.

"Now, bend your knees." He says and I do.

"Good luck." He says and as a wave comes he lets go of the board. I managed to stay up for a while until I fell off, then Jai came to my rescue.. laughing.

"It's not funny!" I splash water at him.

"It is funny." He says and puts the board on the beach. We lay down on the sand like we had on the floor last night, but he holds my hand and we are closer to each other, so that his thighs are touching mine.

"That was fun, but I don't think I'll ever be a good surfer. Show me some moves." I say and he was pretty good at surfing, but he was bored without anyone else to surf with so he gave up.
