"Oh, that's funny." He chuckled looking at the house.
"What's so funny about it Landon? Please I'll come pick you up." Elizabeth begged, putting her shoes on.
"Annie told me to go on a walk, and I'm going on a walk. Leave me alone."
"How the hell did a simple walk end you up in front of Carlota's house!?"
He shrugged. "I don't know."
"You're going to regret this Landon. How do you even know she's back?"
"Annie told me." He said.
"No, she didn't. She said she saw someone similar. Carlota hates short hair. Why would she have short hair?"
"Bye Ellie." He cut the call and put it in his pocket.
Landon didn't want to come in and start asking for where Carlota was because, on the off chance that wasn't actually Carlota and he was just missing her all over again, he didn't want to look stupid in front of her parents who he hadn't seen in almost 3 years.
"F*ck it." He mumbled under his breath and knocked on the door.
