With the phone pressed to his ear, Sean took a few moments as the silence continued to linger between them. On the other end, Sean could hear the concern that was in her voice as she knew this phone call was different than the others they had. Gripping on tight to the glass that was in his hand, Sean fought through emotions that were pressing to come out. Taking a long, hard swallow of the whiskey that was in his glass, Sean needed something strong to endure the pain. Hearing her continue to press him as to what was wrong, Sean knew that this was as good as time as any to set things in motion.

“You’re scaring me. What’s wrong?” Ariana asked as the silence killed her more than anything from Sean’s end of the phone “Sean, talk to me???” she pleaded to the point where he could hear her heart begin to break

“….I want to, I want to break up” Sean uttered as he put the glass down “I think we should end things” he told her.

[72 Hours Early] [Los Angeles]

Dumping out the ordered food onto plates, Sean hustled around the kitchen to grab utensils out of the drawer. Balancing a bottle of red wine under his arm, Sean walked over to put the plates on the outside table on his patio. Putting the bottle of wine down on the table, Sean accessed the table to see what was missing before he made his way back into the kitchen to grab the lighter and wine glasses to put on the table. Making her way down the staircase, Ariana put her hair up in her usual pony tail as she was glad to slip into something comfortable. Noticing that Sean was outside prepping what looked like a late night dinner, Ariana smiled as she loved how spontaneous and random he could be at times.

“I thought we were just ordering in?” Ariana asked as Sean turned to see her in one of his shirts

“Yeah, but I thought we could dress it up a bit. Make it a bit more special seeing as it’s rare that we’re both in town together” Sean said after she gave him a quick kiss on the lips before he lead her towards the table

“Look who’s getting nifty with the vegan menu?” Ariana asked as she looked on at the food while she took her seat at the table

“I’ve tried a couple of new dishes while I was in New York that I loved, I was just happy to find them here” Sean said as he opened up the bottle of wine before she began to pour for them

“How’d your meeting go with the Jay and the label?” Ariana asked as she began to prepared her food with the necessary condiments

“It went very well” Sean smiled “They’re starting up promotion again, then Jay managed to get air space to run commercials off of the video Zeno made. Then we got a time slot on BET to run Zeno’s documentary. It’s all falling in line, the roll out is nice for this album” he said
