Playing the track back, Sean listened to it for what felt like the millionth time while he was in the studio. With pen and paper in hand, Sean did his best to write the lyrics for this song that he was working on with Ariana. In his head he’d have the lyrics laid out but in reality, Sean knew he couldn’t write that out, he knew it’d be too personal for it to just be seen as a simple song. The more he listened, Sean hoped to ignore the lyrics that were floating around. Hearing the door open up, Sean turned to see that it was Ariana coming inside with her usual bubbly smile that she had been sporting the past couple days since they had been hanging out.
“I feel like you’re starting to sleep in here now” Ariana said as she walked up to hug Sean “And apparently never plan to shower” she said as she backed away from Sean
“I was up all night with this song” Sean said as he smelled himself “And I do smell” he said
“The worst that I’ve ever smelled from you” Ariana laughed “What song are you working on?” she asked
“Uh….one that Ye sent over” Sean lied
“Really? What’s it about?” Ariana asked
“It’s….it’s the typical” Sean replied
“Kanye isn’t the typical rapper” Ariana said “His ideas are a bit concept driven” she said
“Well, this is…it’s a concept I’m not sure I’ve grasped. It’s all just playing around” Sean told her
“Playing around??? You in the studio are more productive” Ariana told him
“It’s Ye’s track, I have to go hard on it” Sean told her “What’s up? I thought you had that Big Boy interview?” he asked
“I do, I’m actually on my way but wanted to stop by and see if you had plans today?” Ariana asked
“Not until tonight. Why?” Sean asked
“I just wanted to know if you wanted to be in my video for Problem” Ariana said “We’d have you in and out, I just thought that since you helped bring the song to life that….” She began to explain as she knew it wasn’t always idea for a rapper to be in a pop singers video
“Yeah, sounds cool” Sean said “I’d do it. Why did you think I wouldn’t?” he asked
“Didn’t know if you would” Ariana said “Didn’t want to mess with your street cred like I did with revealing your Charades like” she teased
“Whatever, it didn’t mess it up” Sean laughed
“Have you started on your album?” Ariana asked
“I’ve begun the mumbles. My Iphone has a bunch of voice notes that the average person would listen to and say ‘what the hell’” Sean replied
