Getting a good morning start, Ariana felt she deserved a good morning treat to start off her day for getting out the house early for rehearsals. Trying to avoid Starbucks for a bit, Ariana felt that resistance begin to wane as she found herself driving towards her usual Starbucks. Being back in the states and in Los Angeles, Ariana felt like she was more in an adjustment period more than ever. For the past couple of months, Ariana had become used to hopping on and off tour buses or planes to the next show that it felt nice to just be on stable ground. It had only been one day, but it was still a day she treasured because she liked not having to be in a different city at certain time. Heading into Starbucks, Ariana order her usual from the burista and within a matter of moments she was able to get her order. Just as she prepared to leave, Ariana was caught off guard to run into Sean.

“Crap” Ariana uttered to herself as she looked on at Sean

“Hey” Sean said after a few awkward moments “I see we had the same cravings” he said before realizing how awkward it might sound, especially for their current situation

“….I need to go” Ariana replied nervously before she headed out of the Starbucks

“Hey, wait a minute” Sean said as he followed behind her outside “Will you just wait!?!” he said preventing her from opening up her car door

“Sean….” Ariana began to say

“I just wanted to say I’m sorry about how I acted yesterday” Sean told her

“Good, can I go now?” Ariana asked as she attempted to open the door

“Can you at least make small talk???” Sean questioned

“Sure Sean. How was your summer? What interesting things have you done lately?” Ariana asked sarcastically

“Even though I know you’re being sarcastic, my summer was…” Sean began to say

“Oh my God!?! I don’t want to know about your summer. That’s the last thing I want to know about” Ariana quickly replied

“Fine, how was your summer?” Sean asked before realizing

“Are you really asking me that???” Ariana questioned “How do you think my summer was?!?” she exclaimed “You should know since you took part in ruining it” she told him

“Then what do you want to talk about?!?” Sean questioned

“If I had the option of leaving, I’d opt for leaving, which means that there is little I would want to talk about with you” Ariana replied as she let out a sigh

“Look, I just wanted to apologize. I didn’t intend to ruin your whatever it was with ol’ boy yesterday” Sean said “I mean, was it like a date or something?” he asked with a bit of intrigue on the reply
