Making her way into the kitchen, Ariana looked on to see that her mother had ordered out for the evening. Grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge, Ariana sipped on her water as she walked over towards her mother, who was sitting at the counter with her lap top, looking to see that she was watching the past episode of Big Brother to see how Frankie how was doing. Consistently keeping up with the show, Ariana couldn’t help but get attached to the show since her brother was on it but it was still brutal to hear people say mean things about him and she had to stand back. Deep down, Ariana wanted to go off on all those that spoke bad about him on Twitter but she knew she couldn’t without it being detrimental to Frankie and her. Getting caught up in watching the show with her mother, Joan and Ariana couldn’t hear that they had company until Sean made his way inside of the house.
“Y’all make a habit of letting people in so easily?” Sean asked as he walked over towards Ariana to give her a quick hug before giving Joan one “What’s this?” he asked
“Big Brother” Joan replied
“Oh, how is Frankie doing?” Sean asked
“I’m not sure is a good thing, but he’s being quite mischievous to survive” Ariana replied
“That’s life sometimes. You have to backstab in order to get ahead in that type of game” Sean replied
“Too bad people can’t separate television from real life, these idiots online are starting a campaign to get him kicked out of the house” Joan said
“He’s got haters, he must be doing something right then” Sean laughed “Look, you guys shouldn’t get so worked up. If Frankie was a teller at a bank, there’s probably going to be one asshole that thinks he shouldn’t work there or be there or some shit, people just tend to be that way and we can’t control it” he said
“I know, it’s just frustrating” Ariana sighed as she rested her head on his shoulder before the show went off
“I ordered food, you can help yourself to some Sean” Joan offered as she got up from her seat
“Where’s my Nona?” Sean asked
“She went to go see my cousin for the weekend” Ariana replied “She knew you’d be distraught over here disappearance” she teased
“Clearly” Sean replied with a bit of laughter before Joan’s phone began to go off
“Which reminds me, I need to do a phone conference call” Joan sighed as she began to head out of the kitchen “If Nona calls while I’m on the phone tell her to call me back” she called out before leaving the kitchen.
“How was your meeting with Scooter?” Sean asked as he walked over towards the trays to pick at the salad
“Good, I’ll be opening for the VMA’s” Ariana smiled
“That’s great babe” Sean said
“And the even exciting part is that I think things will line up so that Jessie, Nicki, and I can perform our song together” Ariana said as she ate some of Sean’s salad
