Tossing the apple back and forth in his hand, Sean waited for the computer screen to load. Using the hotel internet, Sean was quickly appreciating his internet at his house since the hotel internet was taking so long. Finally seeing the screen pop up after it was done loading, Sean groaned in frustration as still there was no signs of a direct flight back to Los Angeles without a five hour wait in Chicago. Groaning in frustration, Sean quickly logged out of the travel page to see his friends and brother looking on at him with a knowing look.
“I’ve found numerous flights, problem is I’m not trying to spend hours on a flight just to get to Los Angeles” Sean said
“Or maybe you’re being picky about these flights because you know you shouldn’t go” Mo replied
“Oh, I know I’m going” Sean replied “You guys can stick around for this and fake it all you want, but I’m going….” He began to say
“Make your point” Mo, Zeno, Tone, and Brett quoted him
“See you already know” Sean replied “You should be flying out with me as well instead of supporting this” he said
“No, I think I’ll stay because unlike you, I choose to not break our mother’s heart and just push my reservations aside” Brett said
“And you can just so easily watch her make a mistake as marrying this guy??? The guy has cancer and only six months to live, what type of fairytale is that???” Sean questioned
“The fairytale that suits her” Brett replied “But then again, it shouldn’t matter to you” he said as Sean glared on at him
“Yeah well, someone has to protect the family” Sean said
“Keep telling yourself that little brother, maybe it might help in making you not think your being selfish” Brett said before a knock came to the door. Getting up from his seat, Tone went to answer the door to see Ariana standing on the otherside
“Is he still here?” Ariana asked
“Yep, he’s in there” Tone said as he stepped out of the way to show Sean “Guys, let’s give them some time” he said as the guys got up and gave their greetings to Ariana before they made their way out of the room. Closing the door behind her, Ariana pulled out a plane ticket
“Direct flight to Los Angeles” Ariana replied as she handed the ticket to him to his surprise “Thought you may have some trouble finding one out, so came to give you your ticket out” she said as he looked on at the ticket
“What is this? Some sort of a guilt gift?” Sean asked
“No, it’s really not” Ariana laughed in disbelief “It’s what you want, so I’m giving you what you want” she told him
