Sitting up in the room, Sean looked through his e-mails to make sure that he was still on top of things while he was on his mini vacation. While the Grande family had used the time to continue on normal activities of their annual Halloween party, it was also an important trip, in which they’d all come together to do a celebration of life for Grandpa Grande since Frankie was home. While the family was downstairs making last minute arrangements for the service, Sean wanted to make sure that he gave them as much space as possible. Zeno and Jones had mostly hung out downtown, going about Boca to find things for their cameras that would best serve them, Sean wanted to be around for Ariana. Scrolling through his e-mail one last time, Sean couldn’t help but notice an incoming e-mail that was from the retirement home that his grandmother was in at Detroit. Before Sean could even manage to read it, the door opened up with Ariana walking into the room, immediately crashing on the bed as her swollen red eyes showed that she had been crying.

“How’d it go?” Sean asked as he closed his lap top and put it to the side. Laying back to where she was, Sean rubbed her back as she turned to look at him

“It’s fine, I’m just still emotional about everything” Ariana replied

“How’d Frankie take it?” Sean asked

“It was like he was experiencing it all over again” Ariana said as she sat up on her elbows “It was like we had finally acknowledged the elephant in the room and had to deal with it” she said as water welled up in her eyes

“But that’s a good thing, you both needed to deal with it together” Sean said as he wiped her eyes

“I just thought it wouldn’t hurt as much anymore. I’ve accepted it but it’s just….it’s accepting it day after day that gets hard” Ariana said

“This will only bring all of you closer together and I think this is what your grandfather would’ve wanted. For you all to do this together” Sean said as he caressed her cheek before he leaned in to kiss her sweetly on the lips

“Thank you” Ariana said before she took a deep breath “My dad is supposed to be coming in tonight, but will meet up as at the lake” she said

“Are you going to meet up with him?” Sean asked

“No, I can only deal with one thing at a time and I’m no sure my dad is something I want to deal with without much preparation” Ariana replied “I’m sorry if that makes me sound horrible, but I just….” She began to say

“I understand” Sean smiled on at her
