The sounds of the machines beeping rang loudly in his ear, causing him to stir awake from his slumber. Coming to, Sean quickly covered his ears as the sharpness of the noise made his ears hurt. Looking on at the hospital wristband, Sean was slowly able to figure out that he was in a hospital. Quickly sitting up in his bed, Sean looked around in a bit of a panic as he began to question why he was in the hospital and where everyone else was. Was this all a dream? Sean questioned as he attempted to pull out the IV that was in his arm until he was prevented from doing so by Zeno.

“You can’t do that, not until it’s finished” Zeno replied as Sean noticed that Zeno’s arm was in a sling

“What happened?” Sean asked in confusion

“….Ghost happened” Zeno sighed

“What do you mean? Ghost???” Sean asked

“You should lay back down and just relax” Zeno told him

“Tell me what the hell happened? Why am I in here?” Sean asked

“Because Ghost came looking for Anthony and he shot up the place” Zeno told him

“And me? What’d he do to me?” Sean asked as he tried to think about the events but nothing came to mind as to what happened, as if he had drawn a blank from yesterday to today

“It was a bit touch and go for a moment…..we weren’t sure if he had actually shot you, but I guess he just did the scare tactic….pulled the trigger near your ear” Zeno said as Sean looked on at his side to see that he was heavily bandage with a bit of blood showing through the bandage

“And this?” Sean asked as he looked on at Zeno

“It was just a piece of glass that was lodged into your side. It was causing you to bleed out, they removed it before any damage was done but your all stitched up” Zeno said just as Myra and the doctor walked in

“Oh good, you’re awake. I was so worried about you” Myra said before she quickly pulled her son in for a hug

“When did you get here?” Sean asked in confusion as he looked at his mom then at the doctor

“Doctor…” Myra began to say

“This is all normal, Sean is a bit confused and can’t recall memories of recent events. It’s all signs of concussions and he will gradually come out of” The doctor said “Then with your perforated eardrums, we’ve prescribed anti-inflammatory medicines. We’re looking at two months for healing” he told them.
