Sitting in complete and utter shock, Sean let out a bit of a laugh as he was still in a bit of disbelief. Looking on at his mom, Sean was hoping that she’d come out and reveal that she was playing a joke, but it just never seemed to happened. Waiting and hoping for that moment, Sean soon realized that the moment he was in now, it was the reality of the situation. Seeing the two hold hands as they relayed the news, Sean just shook his head as he couldn’t fathom the situation he was presented with.
“What do you think Sean?” Myra asked with hope that her son would somehow approve but silence came between them
“.....this is great. I mean, I’m happy for the both of you” Ariana jumped into say to cure the silence that was coming upon them all “Do you have a ring?” she asked nervously as Sean sat in a daze
“Uh…we haven’t gotten around to that, but I’m looking into getting her whatever her heart desires” Sam smiled proudly at Myra as Sean just glared on at the man
“How the fuck you propose without a damn ring???” Sean questioned
“Sean!?!” Myra quickly replied to her son’s language
“You haven’t gotten around to it, but yet you make the time to make this special trip out to spring him on me and then this bullshit about marriage???” Sean questioned “Nah, fuck that” he said as he got up from his seat
“Is that really how you want to talk to your mom?” Ariana asked as she got up, cutting Sean off before he was able to walk off
“They just said they’re planning to get married!?! What other response should I have???” Sean exclaimed
“Sean, I would really hope that you would be happy for me” Myra said as she got up from her seat, walking over towards her son
“No, you really haven’t given a damn about what I thought because if you did….then I wouldn’t just be hearing about him for the first time in the span of two days” Sean replied
“It’s really been my fault on that front, I’ve gotten tied up in trying to join her on this trip. Waiting for clearance to go anywhere…it can take a lot, but I want us all to talk about this and get to know each other….” Sam began to say
“Seriously dude, I’m not really even trying to hear you right now. I’m sure or hope that you’re a decent person, but all I have to go off of, is you being this random ass dude that is carrying strawberries and whipped cream to my mom’s room in the middle of the night” Sean replied as he backed away, fearing that if he got close to Sam, he may punch him
“Okay, I think we all should just call it a night. Get some rest and come back with a level head” Myra suggested as Sean walked over towards the living room to grab his jacket
